I was not a fan of the first two. I put a few hours into each and they didn't draw me back in. Does anybody know if I'll be able to play this one without having beaten the first two? Are the stories heavily intertwined? This seems to be shaping up nicely and I may have to give this a whirl. The last FF I actually enjoyed was 9, but this is looking good.
I am a full supporter of the X1 (and PS4.) I'm getting it at launch, but 8 is overkill. It has it's uses, but it's far from "killer." 7 was a useless feature on the PS3, 8 is useless on the X1.
Not to nit-pik, but MS announced a November launch well before Sony. MS isn't "gatecrashing" anything. Besides, both consoles will be sold out for a good couple of months regardless of release date.
Good month to be a gamer.
I own a Shield. AWESOME. It's not for everybody, but if you're an old school gamer, the emulators are fantastic.
How can a winner be proclaimed?? MS had some announcements today, but I thought the official keynote was tomorrow; that's when Phil Spencer is scheduled to talk about the system (maybe my info is wrong)
That's not it. The US economy has been in the shitter for 5 years. I'm sure gamers are saving up for next gen. Bad economy or not, gamers will find a way.
It's his 360 gamer tag.
From what I understand, The X1 is using the Skype network not only for video, but also for gaming voice chat, which will in turn make chat much clearer. It's an entirely different communications network than 360.
Dead Rising 1 stayed a 360 exclusive. DR3 may port one day, but I doubt it. It will stay a X1 exclusive.
6 is my fav, but followed CLOSELY by 9. 7 & 8 deviated a lot from what 6 was, and 9 went back to what made classic FF's so great.
They finally made it big enough for someone who is older than 10 years old. I'm excited to hold onto it. The DS3 always felt too small in my hands, and my hands are very average in size.
You need to get out more.
Lets just pour a little KY Jelly on the future to make easing it in a little bit easier. HOW can this be any easier? Buy it, or don't.
No surprise. We knew this a month ago. The word was clearly out that they had a two part reveal; multimedia, then games at E3. Anyone whining about how there were no games at the reveal must've missed the memo.
I was flying around in a chopper last night in Bad Company 2...nothing new here folks.
Yea be patient people. Can somebody please explain to me the "scoring" system that E3 has...how is a "winner" calculated. What do you need to do to acquire points?...(note sarcasm) We as gamers are winners. All three systems are sure to have great shows.
The shear stupidity of N4G members is staggering. This is no different than Sony using PC footage like they did a couple weeks ago. Devs have "stock" game footage they allow for advertising. Sony did not pick that PC footage, and MS did not pick this footage. It was given to them as stock advertising footage. If anything its the fault of Ubi and Activision for mixing up which videos should go to which company.
