I tell you, the more games there are for a system and the more successful it becomes, the weirder some games get :)
I would like another handheld gaming device, either from Apple or Microsoft, yet I really don't see either jumping in on the market. These descriptions fit Apple to the T, but the current state of the 'handheld wars' speaks for itself; Sony is doing a great job with the PSP, and the DS keeps Nintendo as the handheld leader, even now as third parties handle the good stuff.
I love handhelds; I want more of them, but I don't think we will see anything stand-alone and sophisticate...
It was quite the nice surprise; to be honest I thought it would be simpler and clunky. Kudos to Sega!
I wish I was good at strategy titles; the Advance Wars series has always seemed too complex to me, but also quite intriguing. As far as strategy games go, however, I can only handle Pikmin :)
I certainly wouldn't say dead, and I don't think it's a mid-life crisis, either, at least not a big one. I see it as a bit of a break, from the recent spike in success the handheld has had in the past few months. Although I do not know of any 'big hit' PSP titles for the rest of the year, I'm sure E3 will be a great show for both handhelds (perhaps even new ones).
That being said, I'm waiting for any word on the rumored PSP 3000. If nothing is said or announced by July, I'll...
