"Has strongly funded backing by Bill Gates."
LOL
I'm afraid I don't have much to say here.
It's telling of a future with less and less customer and consumer rights.
OH SNAAAAP.
No, but, really. Be quiet, Lucas.
"The second you get the controller something turns off in the heart, and it becomes a sport."
Go and play Journey or something and realize you're wrong, you washed up has-been.
Cool, if it's anything remotely close to Demon's/Dark Souls, I'll buy.
But...I'm already paying for PS+ because it's so awesome...
Why should I be worried about online multiplayer being thrown into something that I already love paying for? *shrug* This news doesn't affect me at all, and I'm still Sony to the bone after hearing that the PS4 is DRM-less. That's what really matters.
I do agree that this sucks for people that don't use PS+...But PS+ is so good, why not use it? It literally pays for itself. It...
"This is Sony's version of the 24 hr check in. Majority of their games are played online...so they get to verify that you are playing a legit copy and that are you aren't cheating."
Where's the proof for "majority of their games are played online"? I probably own more offline games from PS+ than online games at this point. Also, how are you inconvenienced by Sony making sure cheaters aren't running rampant? You're connected to the inter...
There are a lot of Sony articles right now because Sony is taking the lion's share of the buzz. Defeating DRM is a actually a big deal for some gamers.
DRM.
That is all. I support gaming and gamers of all types. DRM is not a friend to the gamer. Therefore, MS is not a friend to the gamer. Case closed.
Anyone who supports DRM is slapping the shackles onto the future generations of gamers around the world. They won't get away with it that easily. Not as long as there are actually people out there that voice their opinions. Sony heard those voices, and Sony answered.
Especially Majin Vegeta...that jerk. Blowing up that stadium full of people. That wasn't cool, man.
I heard the band played "The Rains of Orth" at that wedding.
I'm pretty sure the lack of DRM kicked MS in the nuts as well, but who's counting nutkickings?
^ That's grasping at straws...
Sony has been supplying a great lineup of games for a good long while now. I doubt they'd just suddenly bomb and tank out, especially after welcoming all of those indie devs into the fold.
The entire planet could be hit with an asteroid tomorrow, too. But let's focus on what's happening currently before we worry about tomorrow.
I do, too. But, hey, if there was ever a time to use it, it's now.
Megaton.
BOOOOOM
No DRM! $399! No contest! Alas, the naysayers are quiet.
Omg...
Dat Quantic Dream sequence.
I never did. I don't see what's so funny, honestly. No crazy MS DRM makes me a happy gamer. :P
@secondpost
That might be true, but we don't know for sure yet. We still haven't seen hide nor hair of Sony's DRM policy. Also, I really like that the PS4 doesn't require any of that "always on" nonsense. So, that's another plus for me. I'm just weighing the pros and cons of both systems that are currently visible, that'...
I agree. I just think it's funny that all of these people are calling the PS4 an Xbox One copy when Sony's been doing black consoles since the PS2. The original Xbox followed the PS2 with a black box design, so I just don't see their logic. lol
Oh, because that's the last straw, right? Come on. :/
Weird, I thought the US was founded on religious principles. Odd that they choose to talk about God and Jesus, eh? Pfft.
Oh, you religious-intolerant folk. One day that blood pressure'll simmer down. ;)
