Its not bad we playing so no time to comment
@EvertoneFC
I dont know how their business decisions actually works; but I know if it was my business i would not put my service for 1$ per 3 months when 1 of my main games were to release, that unless i intended to plague it with microtransactionsntended ... I wanted to buy it and i did but few of my friends that intended to buy it, just got gamepass for 1$ will play it for 1 or 2 months and move to something else..
@pecorre
Yeah, couple of my friends did too for forza, i might do too to try halo before buying it!
It has EA access so people can try Battlefield 2042 before buying as well and if they are always subscribed they can just play it!
Most of those sales probably comes from people that dont have gamepass on consoles and paid 100$ (and yes they do exist), gamepass was and is only 1$ for 3 months atm as well... I would have get gs for 1$ and game for 45$ but I rather have my games on same platform if possible so I bought it on steam...
They put it at 1$ for 3 months this week... At least on PC dunno consoles!
What? You got it you can still play it just like if you got a physical copy of the game ...
I still feel like Lament of Innocence was better, and although I kind of agree on the price of dread i still paid it an enjoyed it more than some games i has paid full price or some that I have dropped them in a few days ...
@Darth
Months aint gonna happen when Sony itself pay some 3rd party for at least a year of exclusivity and in some cases extend it FF7R cough) ; they arent going to release for at least 1 year; more likely 2 or 3 though...
more games for february
go play on ps5, xbox, switch, dreamcast or w/e and stop crying on pc stuff then, everybody already know that on pc tinkering might be needed ...
yes but not by breaching contracts, suing and trying to look like they are sided with consumers and are the so good guys!
Not only that, then theres charge back from someone using a stolen credit card because they are not fully protected, I remember a small dev that had to close because a hacker bought many keys using stolen CC; and he had to pay a lot 0f 20$ for those charge backs and that was just because that dev didnt want to sell only directly on steam or others stores and wanted to maximize profit which is understandable but there are risks ...
@Darkborn
Oh wow really?
I though they were taking it on like the EGS, saying the 30% was alot and they should take less from Publishers etc but if only on PC that seems kind off hypocritical then, I could understand if it was across their echo system but only doing where they sell less ? Just a business thing but expected!
Depends on system, some are just unlock, for example on Origin PC BF1 dlc are dowloaded on a patch and you just unlock them, on BF4 they need to be downloaded
The others take the 30% as well, except MS I think and used to take that anyways, its the standard and i think they decrease it once theypass a threshold...
More insane is the ammount people spend on mobile games, known a few that spend half what they make a week than complain theyre broke ...
As I said its not like I have a massive backlog even if I am interested, the only games i could recall that I might say I have to play that yes or yes probably would never release (new xenogears / breath of fire)... when they fix their shitty store then I may call it competition for now theyre just trying to buy the market by bruteforce buying timed exclusive and free craps and I am glad theyre failing miserably!
Its not hate, but instead of using all that money to speed up...
Steam doesnt care about you but you should care about the future of gaming on PC (theres GoG, Origin, UPlay, etc and steam key can be bought on a plethora of store like Humble, gmg, gamebillet, gamesplanet, etc) ... unlike steam Epic is aiming for a monopoly, at least their bs practices are on that direction...
Pass; until they fix their shitty store every exclusive is a pass and buying on steam when price drop dirt cheap; and if they do not come steam well its not like I dont have a super massive backlog anyways
Yet is everywhere but the switch!
@dominic
Yea me and few friends played a lot yesterday, I even paid a couple of them for a month of ea play pro so they could extend the 10hrs!
I thought it was gonna be bad but it was honestly quite good, could be better? Indeed but felt a lot better than their others BF games so it should take less to fix their errors (and we on early access so launch should be better)
