I'll give them graphics, but cmon . . . WoW has NOT been surpassed. As someone above me stated, graphics don't make the game. WoW is so big cause it's accessible to almost anyone and has an "easy to jump into" style gameplay that is very addicting.

oh I guess I should also state that PC's do everything else too that consoles are attempting at doing. Like email, web browsing, Microsoft Word/Powerpoint/Excel, Video Editing, watching videos, music, downloads, file management . . . and on and on . . .
As someone stated very nicely earlier, it's obvious that consoles are attempting to be PC's and not the other way around . . .
Alright I don't understand this. Much of the PC sales are generated through online buying of games . . . take steam for instance. As stated earlier so many people bought games like HL2 online . . . and those don't usually get accounted for.
I also love the comments about HL2's sales and how Crysis is doing now. PC's and consoles have different sales. Consoles sell big in the beginning and taper off, whereas PC games are meant for longevity and the sales usually sell as new ...

Spore first off is really an amazing feat for a game. Yeah every stage is basic, but the space age is amazing and is more complex than most games out there.
