That's literally part of the definition of the word as fortold by the writers of history aka the people who are going to outlive you and you 9 year old, frightened opinion of the word.

I expect the reviews to be slightly more ethical over in Japan. The price issue that you've mentioned sounds frustrating. Here in The UK the console is as much as a new IPhone, and those are expensive enough as it is.

The game was a 9 hour slog with repetitive missions, but the soundtrack I did enjoy. I think the commenter above is just lashing out at anything, like 99% of them do

Linear is not always bad. Linear games were a blast during the ps3 and 360 era. And not everything has to be open world.
As far as the writing goes... that's up to the writer. If you don't like their work, don't play their game.

I was annoyed by how many of my friends were deceived by the ps4 pro when that came out.
