The death of journalism is coming, sadly.
Games aren't a subjective medium so reviews are actually important. Watch as this happens to actual important news sources, both socially and politically.
People get older, people get jobs, people get money, people get PCs.
That's usually the way.
Nintendo have made some of the best consoles of all time, if the industry wasn't focused on shiny graphics and microtransactions, they would still be king.
They are currently making some stupid decisions for the Switch but even with them, we DO NOT DESERVE their games without buying a console.
We live in an age of Order 1886, Ryse, Pay to play, Microtransaction, tech demo, unfinished mp only, online only mess and forcing the daddy of gaming into that cor...
Also football hooligan-y....
Would have pre ordered it if that was in the show
No, I'm a real gamer. I don't "do" stupid fanboy nonsense.
Welcome to N4G.
Very much a Playstation-oriented website.
Slightly understandable because the Ps4 has sold more than the Xbox but disgraceful because: fanboyism is the football hooliganism of gaming.
Can they not approach this like the Nintendo DS? That has a wide range of random games that aren't related to any big AAA publishers.
Get Pokemon in there, get WarioWare on there, Fire Emblem etc. Just tell the people that it replaces the DS.
I mentioned two headsets, why focus on just one?
I'm stronger than i look ;)
Cheapo wires can't handle me.
Well because the xbox one headset lasted about a month for me and the ps4 one snapped after i took it out of the box, this is how i speak voip while playing games. It's actually easier than it looks.
It's just the paywall that weirds me out.
Looking at comments for Switch news confuses me, so many opinions on Nintendo games despite the Wii U not selling well.
How can someone not buy the console but still know what it is like to play...
I don't think you'll find many people who get that it is a handheld.
Maybe you just don't know how this generation differs? Lol
Getting it on the Wii U. It isn't worth the price.
Why pay another $£300 just for the resolution/shinier graphics, it's insane!?
Well, Ryse was a full game. The Order wasn't, it was half a game and a shred of a Co-op game. You can see the cracks by the end, the team mates disappear one by one, like it started out as a co-op adventure until focusing on an engine got in the way of actually making a game.
This is a game that shows what the joycons can do. It is even different and innovative enough to be seen as something fresh, despite it's possible small size. (We only have a trailer up to now ...
A Wario Ware/ Wii Sports style game?
Not exactly killing kids is it?
It's a tech demo, all new tech has some.
Ryse and The Order 1886, where they as bad?
Welcome to N4G
Looks incredible and fresh as hell. Can't wait.
Good that the games are stored on cartridges. 32gb for downloads is meh but the physical games won't need much.
It is 100% portable.
Why are people ignoring that factor?
I'm fine waiting for December too. As well as playing Zelda on my Wii U.
No, films are. Game mechanics and glitches, what are they?
