As a technical fighter, PS All Stars was strengthened by tighter controls, and more technical combat.
Brawl felt like a novelty, and while I like Melee best, All Stars really felt better than Brawl. I hope the new Smash Brothers is a step forward.
No. But it's not expensive either. Although if you have psn+ I believe it was free at some point.
Warhawk is so much better than this game can ever hope to be.
Well Sony has Naughty Dog and M$ does not currently have a studio that produces anything nearly that good.

But given FF's popularity in JP, it's such a bad choice for M$ to release a year later there! This was an amazing opportunity to grab the marketshare of FF fans who were afflicted with ps4 shortage.
I'm as disappointed as you are by the lack of non nintendo super robot wars games. But this generation is supposed to have a much shorter development period and only 3 more ff13 spinoffs.
ff13: Mash X until the battle is over and run from point A to point B, repeat.
FF7 is a fairly easy game, this version is even easier than the vanilla, so I'd avoid it for that purpose. No challenge at all.
Well it looks like the technical design is also shoddy: it breaks easily and the analogs have atrocious dead zoning.
Controllers really need to take a beating and that's something I don't think they researched enough before launching.
I'll admit the gameplay and visuals didn't peak with this iteration of the series, but in every other category: music, storyline, characters, it absolutely soared.
