Some games don't age well. I suspect even if there are flaws in remakes(they happen), it could be easily fixed with a patch. It's definitely weird.
Onimusha 3 was amazing. I'm not that huge of fan of 1/2.

You can play online for free with a hacked switch. Even emulated games.
