Bloodborne is an ambitious game and played on ps4 pro, there are very modest performance dips. Look at my initial comparison. Pokemon -- a game that most indie studios could outperform visually -- in that example it drops to 17fps. Not a whole lot going on in that game.
So, I don't judge based on performance alone but the switch has performance issues across the board.

These weren't created because the system runs the games "just fine" as you say. People put a lot of work into them because they saw how lackluster the switch performance was and wanted something better. Personally, I think the greater travesty are the 3rd party...

When I owned a switch, modding was the only option. Syscon to play games with a Dualshock 4.
Now the switch emulator yuzu allows 60fps on games like Astral Chain and Fire Emblem.
The only reason to own a switch is for online gaming fun...
