It was definitely an 8/10 conference. Finally seeing games directly from them that look worthwhile is exciting. It will be a last minute decision for me on which console I pre-order first. Outside of Spider-Man 1.5, nothing from Sony looked like I need to go an buy the console right away. And the Xbox’s flagship launch title will play on an Xbox one, so no real incentive there either
I mean it’s all lighting placement, to which the person is very skilled at. But what truly separates this from a lot of others is the artist’s ability to use and reuse the same models over and over again without using up the scenes graphics memory... because that thing fills up fast in a detailed scene.
Have you played it?
You mean like all video games?
Link? Oh wait...
@killzallthebeast "people like me don't care to read books"
Smh... that's a shame
You realize these are scheduled interviews, were he's sought after to talk about this stuff. It's not like he holding conferences on his on accord to speak freely everyday...
Lol give it time :)
Ugh, I really want to get hyped for game but it just seems like it leaves people unimpressed every time they play the demo. I generally don't care about reviews, but when money is tight, you have to go off some impressions in order to make an educated purchase. There's still plenty of time tough, this game looks to good to screw up.
Lol trolling...
Care to explain which games can't match games from last generation?
All Nintendo's got is nostalgia.* fixed. Wrong but fixed.
lol and down goes another bubble... did you essentially just copy and paste this statement from the last EA Access story?
OT: I kind a wish I could afford an Xbox1 now, seems like a legit deal, and I love EA SportsBall franchises.
Lol tell us how you really feel! I don't understand how this should make Microsoft leave the console market? I don't particularly like EA, or the Xbox, but this seems like a pretty good deal.
Is it me or do I remember about 10x the amount of demos to start off last gen? Is it because we now have alphas and betas to play, that demos are that sparse? Remember demo cds/dvds with gaming mags? Good times
@Hollywood "Why did Killzone: ShadowFall outsell EVERY wiiu game in it's release window?" Did you not look this up? It seems you care an awful lot about Nintendo games... using up all your 3 bubbles to put your foot in your mouth... bravo.
Maybe not dead, but where's the incentive to buy one? Sure there are games, games that really appeal to niche/indie gamers. I didn't see one unique game announced for the vita. Why would I want to go drop $200 on a portable gaming device where its own manufacturer is only porting console titles to it? I get the Playstation Tv for half the price and accomplish the same idea.
@Foxtrot I wouldn't neccessarily agree with the counterpoint "You haven't played on it" either, but I think they're making the counter argument to your statement it's too big and bulky. The controller is pretty light weight and it button placements are fairly well put together. I will say having two screens showing the exact same display at the same time can be distracting. When used correctly like Zombie U or Rayman, the gamepad works quite well.
Competition drives innovation, not to mention all the free mainstream press the Oculus Rift is going to bring to the VR arena. If Sony or the Oculus can show why it's unique outside of having a display on your face, it could, hopefully should, take off!
Why would I criticize a game I’m not interested in? Or are you one of those kids that likes to troll on stuff you can’t afford...(looks at comment history) lol yep. If you can’t find excitement in the stuff they showed, well you’re not a gamer, but a blatant fanboy...(looks more through comment history) ugh, man, that runs deep within you lol
