"hasn't been good in a long time"
2013 wasn't that long ago
Well said (except maybe the opening paragraph).
Finally someone took these games seriously like the industry should, and offered an original solution to the series' plight that for once isn't a deliberately offensive article to fans.
shame that because it's level-headed, well-written, and goes against the stereotype of the series, it will go under the radar.
The problem is double standards - why is game X allowed to get away with being a rip-off but game Y hated for it?
A good F2P game? These exist?
praise the sun!
nostalgia plays a big part too - I can't believe I played Enter The Matrix and thought it was good at the time
Neogaf went berserk the other day on this issue, with long posts containing lists of "Games You Should Not Buy" and they were basically all next-gen and/or AAA games.....
but that's the internet for ya :P
I know!!! They should do a trilogy of prequels based on your Shepard's background that you chose in ME1!! *gets shot*
In all seriousness, perhaps it would be best if the game was a fresh start and included no ties to the original trilogy (save, of course, for some fan-pleasing references.
Hopefully we'll see a wave of indie 3D platformers
