i know what you are saying and i agree in a way but in u.k its just about to hit rock bottom seriously in a bad way for people being put out jobs . u.s as im aware is kinda recovering but u.k in 167 billion debt is just about to start a shed load of cuts over next 5 years . doubt many will be rushing out to buy a 3dtv when not even 60 percent have upgraded to hd yet and they are like £200 for a 32 inch in u.k .
sorry but theres 6 billion in cuts happening in the u.k on june 22nd with around 300 thousand people getting put out work and worse to happen in 2011 lol doubt these will sell well in u.k at over a grand .
wow says only 88k for alan wake on vg chartz , is that worldwide or just europe .must say im pretty gutted as if those are real sales then i guess my love of horror games will die off as not a lot of those games will come out besides deadspace and resident evil every 2 years and 3 or 4 years for resi . hope thats wrong sales just so horror genre doesnt get phased out for good its one of the best .
metal gear solid peacewalker has a lot of product placement in it as does most metal gear solid games so i dont know what the fuss is about all this as its to make it more realistic . good for devs too to recoup costs of making such good games so we get more made .
well pointed out m8 and i agree with you , it is a horror game yes but set in a real world that was normal at one point so tv's still function way they would in real life showing adverts and some actually show full programmes in alan wake too . theres loads of games with adverts in them these days and its only going to get worse . fifa games are loaded with adverts round edge of pitch just like in real life .
got mine from blockbuster an hour ago and they had no ps3 copies but guy said they got over 100 copies of 360 version and only 25 for ps3 . dunno what rockstar are doing tbh maybe making demand for ps3 version higher so people will cry out for it then they will release a huge batch and it will fly off shelves . i dont know though very weird
lol , why do people always say kids have 360's when kids have all consoles my little brother is 12 and has all 3 consoles and plays ps3 the most so thats just silly fanboy babble m8 .
Will rockstar recoup the money they spent on it though, really hope so its deserved

if anyone like games like resident evil ,silent hill and alone in the dark (i know i know rough 1 lol) id say lets hope its sells good just so we can get more games like this on either console coz i personally love horror games and they are a dying genre these days .

as long as we all get chance to play it i see that as a win for gamers ,i can see why sum people with only ps3s and like visuals mite be annoyed though but most wont care as its not a major difference i dont think anyway.
who gives a toss , if you pay £40 or $60 for any game just for pretty visuals only u are indeed off your rocker . enjoy the gameplay and story and fun online forget about the graphics for once they do nothing to enchance 2nd a 3rd playthroughs of any game .gameplay does and fun

ps3 owners should be buying modnation racers over this game , modnation is amazing even with the load times
ill just get it for the 360 simple solution really , keep ps3 for games that shine on it like uc2 and gow 3
