Not to comment on the submission process, but in this case, it feels like the reports are shooting down a story mostly out of ignorance. Nintendo didn't reveal this as far as I can tell, some German website just SAID they did without any quotes from the company, or screen-shots, or any evidence at all.

I don't disagree, but if they want to come out and be competition with the Wii, they have to start competitive. They don't have the time Nintendo had to learn how to make motion control work, not if they want to keep competitive as far as controls go.
I'm not even certain it's accurate. In games that aped the "point and click" and FPS styles seen on Wii, I'm positive I felt more lag than I did on the Wii when moving my quickest.
