The problem with brand loyalty now is to an extent there is no genuine reason back when it was Sega and Nintendo competing. The person who purchased a console either Sega or Nintendo purchased it primarily for its exclusives, for some reason that has now changed its all about power now. I purchased my Wii u primarily its exclusives but am undecided which console to purchase next in regards to Xbox one or ps4. The stupid thing about all these articles is that looking for one title to save the wii u is rediculous. What will help the wii u is many different titles or software library that is available to it exclusive and 3rd party will help improve the adoption rate for the system
nintendo needs to find new ways to utilize the main difference in it's console the tablet. I believe they should make a game where you play as a sorcerrer or angel or some kind of super natural character that learns spells. To be perfectly honest what console system a person chooses is subjective to their needs i chose a wii u as it offers greater diversity in game type/styles relation to my high end pc a ps4 in reality is trying to be somthing that i already own. If you cant afford a pc then get a ps4 if that is what you want but if you have a good pc then i think the wii u would offer more diverse style of games then what you would get if you had a ps4/pc combo that in my opinion anyway
I think the wii u is a unique idea and really developers should look at different way to utilize it. I reckon a game that used the stylusto draw runes on the screen to cast powerful spell while using stadard controls for lower level spells would be a cool idea. The rune spells casting would be based from available amount of manna, rage or some other power available to the playable character

Ask yourself, what do developers have to gain by pissing off their fan base? Nothing is going to come of this...just like nothing came of this exact same speculation before the PS3's launch. People seem to have short memories.
What Sony has to gain is stopping illegal sharing of developers software, I don't think the I.D tagging of specific games to a system is intended to stop people buying 2nd hand software...
Thats a very negative stereo type you are attributing to the unemployed but high pricing does not only affect them there are people in this world who work and dont earn a high income eigther. Yeah i read the headline but did'nt actually read your article but am sure it was well written and insightful but i really hate suggestions of nintendo going third party and i do realise yo were not advocating that they should go third party. As i deduced that from reading the headline/title :)
