Until you can easily play competitive games that require anti-cheat on Linux, it will never succeed with the masses. If I were to switch, I wouldn’t want to keep Windows installed just to play a few games. For most people, it’s all or nothing.
Mines docked 24/7 if I had the option to buy a switch 2 without the screen I would have.
Conker, Banjo, Blinx, Crash and spyro to name a few, Also Diddy Kong Racing if they want a Mario Kart competitor, a Diddy Kong Racing sequel would also make a great online racing game.

The same people complaining about buying a new next gen console after 5 years are usually the same people who upgrade $1500 phones every year or two and tell people why they should upgrade and not use 5-year-old phones because they are so out of date.
Makes no sense for people to be happy to upgrade some things every 2 years and then complain about new consoles every 5 - 6 years.

You should have a look into that, you will soon realise that just about every big multinational company does the same thing, it isn't just a Microsoft thing. a lot of Governments around the world are trying to crack down on companies routing all the profits through low tax countries.
Does this mean when its initially paired to a console it then can't ever then be used on another console? Is that clarified anywhere?
For instance, I buy a Full slim that comes with the drive, it dies after a few years and just buy a digital because I can reuse the drive from the dead console?

Would you prefer it if they removed early access off the PlayStation and went exclusive early access to Xbox. I think having it multiplatform early access is a great result out of the buyout. Only means more players at launch.

Considering the Specs on both Series X and PS5 I do not understand how they are not the top performing streaming devices on the market. Would be great to get rid of the apple tv and just have the console to do all TV, Movies and Gaming.

I don't understand why all these review sites are happy to compare games mechanics and say how poor they are compared to BOTW, but in the same vain they don't compare graphics of BOTW compared to current gen games like Horizon. For example Nintendo released Pokemon Arceus a few weeks ago and it looks like something I would of played on xbox360 not in 2022 and they are charging full price for it. The main issue I have with Horizon is that the first game was great because the Ubisoft style open world formula still felt fairly fresh and engaging when Zero Dawn came out. By the time Forbidden West released, I was completely burnt out on that style of open world game.
Even though Forbidden West improves on a lot mechanically and looks incredible, it doesn’t really change the core formula which was stale by the time it released.
