It was a bad Final Fantasy in Final Fanatasy standards. There wasn't really a good soundtrack, memorable characters, long boring cut scenes, limited map exploration, limited sidequests, no towns, no npc interaction and the list goes on. Clearly it was going the wrong directly and if the fans didn't speak up, FF13-2 wouldn't have made all those improvements.
1.4 million people who likes to have fun and doesn't care about what others think about the game. Nuff said.

I honestly don't get why people praise BF so much. It has way more campers than people doing objectives. so what if it has better graphics? mw3 appeals to the bigger crowd cuz its fun.

Author doesn't even know what Jumped the shark means. COD never jumped the shark, it uses the same mechanics and storytelling on most of the games. Did they suddenly add killer robots in the game? THAT'S called jumping the shark.
