Tech might be less expensive next holiday but they are building it now and the tech is expensive now, unless they want to take a massive hit on each console sold I am betting this thing is at least $600 or more. The logic you attained is wrong fanboy. The Pro is not a significantly weaker console than what Scorpio will be. The jump between PS4 to Pro is a bigger jump than Pro to Scorpio.

Your gonna be waiting longer than that for native 4K 30 fps unless they cut corners in other areas. Rocking a GTX1080 and it can't do 30 fps consistently.

I for one am glad it may not win over "Modern Gamers." Games these days lack soul. And modern gamers that started with PS3 and 360 gen thinking a game is good based on how long it is and if it has multiplayer included are a cancer to the industry.
