I agree but I think it really could have works with chapter 1 Baulder. Chapter 2 Thor. Chapter 3 Odin. I just feel like maybe Thor and Odin bother being in the same game might not hold as much weight as each having there own game. Regardless I am excited for it

I think you can thank Disney for that honestly, I am so burnt out on DC and Marvel. That being said I just saw Shang Chi and although I found it not funny at all the martial arts take on Marvel was a breath of fresh air.
So in a lot of ways I agree with what you are saying. But I feel the main reason why it was kind of lackluster for me is because over the last generation I have really noticed my taste in gaming has changed quite a bit. Will I still play the games and have fun, absolutely. But nothing has me as excited in this presentation as when they showed the Elden Ring trailer.

It felt safe. It was good for sure but there were no huge things that really stood out to me aside from KOTOR Remake and Wolverine. Where is the BluePoint announcement? More excited for Elden Rings but I feel it’s just cause my taste in games is changing.
The writing is on the wall. I feel like the campaign is going to be in big trouble.

Its really not and its actually a pretty crappy game. Play Psychonauts instead if you have not already.
Its easily the game of the year so far and skyrocketed to one of my top 10 games of all time. Such a unique and awesome experience.
Compared to One it absolutely is.
Its a fun game just not a particularly good Resident Evil in my opinion.

I think it would be awesome if Naughty Dog made a swash buckling pirate adventure, or a sci-fi space opera.
This did nothing for me. Only Elden Ring and Metroid got me excited this year.
