Witcher 3, Forza, Spiderman, and countless other games weren't half-baked empty shells, though. SwSh pretty much were.
Calling it now. P3/P4 relaunch for Switch and PC. Maybe a P5 port to PC, too.
I really feel like we're about to see them REtcon 4-6, scrapping the Ganados and doing a Revelations 3 to attach REMake to 7.
I'm hoping that they're EXPANDING the story events. Like the comment about Dario getting more screen-time, I think that could be the way they're going.
@Tross I believe they were shooting for 600 total TemTem Species. Right now they're sitting at AT LEAST 161. They pushed the release way back in order to properly build the game with the funding that they received, which went way past what they initially wanted/needed. On the 12th I'll hopefully be able to update on here, because it's supposed to be a big patch leading up to next month's Early Access. Glad they're taking their time and heavily including the players.
I can say, from playing a crap ton of the alpha, it is amazing in comparison. And it's not even finished.

I did the backer thing for this and have been playing the Alpha. It's actually pretty good!
If they adapt the PC leveling mod into it, it'll be great.

I can kind of see this being a "One year later" showcase, and partial E3 primer. Some logo flashes, a couple cut-scenes, and then a "more coming, E3."
