Hmm I didn't mean to insinuate that was I wasn't excited about it, I couldn't wait for it and I'm loving it. It's just like the article is saying it all feels a little too familiar for me, If you're getting into 'more of the same' area then it's probably best to stop in my opinion. I'd actually love a Demon Souls and Dark Souls 1 remaster before another Dark Souls or BloodBorne comes out. But everyone is different.
Really good read, I feel the same actually, like this is the last one I could love before it all becomes old hat. Almost every area and enemy I encountered I was thinking about who it resembled from the previous games and I was savvy to most of the traps and ambushes that would have caught me if it was my first SoulsBorne experience. I would carry on buying more if they kept bringing them out but it might be smart to leave the Dark Souls franchise alone before it becomes unwelcome. Right now ...
Spider catching flies in pulp fiction? Was that only in the cinema or something?
I think most similarities that people are making comparisons to are more likely just the developers using the same ideas and tweaking them a little bit so as not to be exactly the same. Similar clothes, enemies, places etc.
You haven't seen episode 4,5,and 6?! Oh my god dude you have got to give them a watch! They are fantastic and if you're playing Battlefront you'd appreciate all the environments, weapons, and characters a lot more.
.........What? I meant the Alex Guinness Obi-Wan of course ha
Hmm....Great that Lando is coming, don't know who the hell Dengar is, if they were going to use another random bounty hunter I think Bossk would have been a better choice. If there are only two more heroes coming though that must mean at least one of either Yoda, Chewbacca, and Obi-Wan are not going to be in it and that's a damn shame! Especially since one of them has been left out for Nien Nunb!? Jeezo!
Hahaha different bosses are tough for different people. I've beat Rom about 30 + times helping people but I can't do Shadow Of Yaharnam without help and I used to find Vicar Amelia really tough and I've been told by a few people they found those one's really easy.
Can anyone tell me how to swap covenants? I'm sure it's something really easy but I can't figure it out.
I think whichever you play first will be your favourite since it's all a brand new experience so with Demon Souls being the first one it's probably a lot of people's favourite. Mine is Dark Souls 1 maybe because it's the first one I played but I actually feel it surpasses Demon Souls in every way tbh. I don't think it really matters though, for me personally they're all 10/10 games, maybe DS2 is only a 9/10 but still amazing compared to most other games out there.
Well it's got a countdown timer putting at Midnight so I'm guessing it won't be any earlier. That's okay though it will be worth the wait.
Got it installed. Can't wait for midnight tomorrow!
Git gud brah!
Git gud bro!
Crash Bandicoot please! Or Jak and Daxter!
That looked a lot better, Where is it actually explained in the demo that you can do all these things? I never teleported once as far as I can remember.
I'm seriously asking here because maybe I was just doing it wrong, But is it really just hold B to attack and hold X to defend? I found that absolutely terrible if so.
Hmm....I would just go for ds3 then dude. Ds2 is actually a very good game but I Don't know if it should be your introduction to the series. Only problem might be if you start on 3 and end up loving it and want to go back and play older one's they might feel poor in comparison. But yeah go for 3! Hope you enjoy it if you do get it!
A cheaper option for you might be to buy Dark Souls 1 if you have something to play it on and decide from there if you'd like to buy the next few. But whatever you do I hope you at least try one of them! Good luck!
Ah right yeah I wondered if it was just a metaphor but I wouldn't have put it past Tarantino to literally put a scene like that in for symbolism. I'm 24 so I didn't watch it until about 2004 I think.
