I think the setting of chicago was needed for the geographical ties the ties to both african american gangs and mafia style "lucky" Quinn gangs (simply in the story they had written). However I'm unaware of the organized crime which takes place in London, so it very well could be an excellent setting.
Tazers, batons, I assume other weapons will be able to capture them alive. But think of how they react in real life, they so much as see a weapon and they start firing. Especially if you're holding hostages like in the one game mode, or robbing a bank. Criminals doing that would OBVIOUSLY shoot and the police would OBVIOUSLY shoot back.
Really looking forward to this game! If the footage is 6 months old then maybe it won't have the problems BF4 had on launch, (and long after for many, thankfully not myself) but we will see.
how does this affect anyone who doesn't plan on buying them? you can still unlock them the normal way, it's just for spoiled kids whos parents will let them spend money on XP bonuses and soldier portaits. No shame in exploiting a market if it's there, thats business, just as long as it's not a mandatory purchase to unlock certain items.

Resogun two would actually be an amazing game if they can improve on it somehow with new features, maybe more ships and power-ups? Not sure how they would do that but no doubt about it resogun was not a cell phone game, it was a masterpiece.
