It is used about as much as the Kinect and adds about as much as the Kinect for games, that's all I was saying. I'm not saying that the potential is as high as Kinect's or the eye itself, I'm just saying it's used about as much and adds about as much. Just look at Tomb Raider on PS4 and X1 for example.

And the X1 controller will never have a touchpad and light bar, which add about the same level of immersion to any game as the Kinect...
I guess this is good news for me then, according to what some people on here say. My 9800 gtx in my pc wont need to be upgraded anymore, I can just wait for better tools to come out for developers and overclock my CPU a tiny bit... Money saved! Thank you guys.

Resogun is a PS4 exclusive in 1080p 60fps and does more on screen all day long than Forza. Most multiplats play and look better. X1 has no "good looking" games in full hd 1080p, PS4 has plenty. PS4 has basically the same CPU but MUCH stronger GPU with more features and better pool of RAM.
Can we just face it that the PS4 is going to have the advantage? I faced it last gen that the 360 had the faster gpu with better shaders, I wasn't in denial (...
At least Sony has great first party talent to begin with... Devs move around for pay.

Actually, Killzone single player was full HD 1080p, the multiplayer part used a new technique. Which game looked better is up for debate, the resolution and tech is not.

You may want to check the latest sales charts, That "Microsoft and partners" game hype has wore off... And who is jumping ship? People are getting laid off because of a downsize unfortunately, and small minded people will brag about it because of their console war bias. Microsoft NEEDS to hire more staff, they have unfortunate X1 focused first party studios, most of their studios aren't focused or any good. Sony had a huge bloat all around that they had to downsize.

For me, this is the most impressive game out technically. The best Anti Aliasing per the article. The most particle effects by far. Most impressive lighting effects. Tons of Volumetric fog. Full HD 1080p. Stays above 30 fps besides the random dip to 26. The greatest draw distance. But also the best looking game art style wise.

The thing I like about the PS4 sales is that they are consistent, they down drop or jump too much, X1 is different, it is based off of game hype. I think the downsizing for Sony as a whole will do nothing but help the company, I for one am glad they are taking action to create a better run company. I think SCE will be affected in a good way. When companies become too big to control, the products start suffering. It will be good that SCE is restructuring and focusing on the products that are good quality. Playstation Now, their tv deals and VR will all be awesome for PS4 owners and owners of Sony products.

One could argue that the X1 is not nearly as difficult to try and learn as the ps3 was, because all the tech in it is basically standard, just set up in a strange way.
The PS3 was unique because when devs did figure out how to program for each individual SPU they got a lot more out of the processor and were able to improve games performance.
