I have a question, how would controllerless hardcore games work without a proper way to move? Would your dude just stand in one place the whole time? I like the idea of some kind of way to move and a trigger of sorts, but with things like eye pet I think it looks like it can work wonders!
You know, I just had no idea the ps eye could do this kind of stuff. Sony really has a hard time advertising don't they.
Somthing like this, fanboys actually care about numbers. Last gen I had a ps2 my friend had an xbox. We were happy as can be with our systems and we had no idea nor cared who's sold more.
This is a bitter war indeed.
Oh I think about buying a second ps3 all the time! My girlfriend loves to watch blurays on mine now, it would be nice to have a second.
I agree you never know where the numbers come from, who buy a second, who send them in for repair. But if I have a model that was prone to failure I may purchase a different model all together.
My friend got the rrod twice and just ended up buying a different model, I think thats what alot of people did.
Valve is at it again, pissing off gamers at every turn. How many more fans will they leave for dead?
I know the graphics are awesome, but look how intense the gameplay is!! I can't wait to get my hands on this.
I haven't bought a psp game since god of war, looks like I will be buying more....
That a game in ms's lineup (left for dead 2) is starting a petition among many angry gamers for being released too soon, that shows you how desperate micro was for a lineup. Yes sony won, easily with content. But micro had more of a wow factor because there stuff wasn't leaked.
Also isn't it cool that the psp and ps3 are compatible, thats why sony showed off AC2, because the psp one can unlock stuff in the ps3 one! I will buy both.
Also I feel sony should have pl...
If microsoft wins the online battle, then what games prove it??? As far as I see sony has the best online experience without question.
It's all about content even with the motion control devices, and sony is about ready to bring the eye pet to the market. The other motion devices will come out long after.
What on earth would lead anyone to beilive sony fans are envious of microsofts line up??? Or even Natal??? Why...
So many defensive xbox owners trying to bring down ps3 owners at every turn. As far as I have seen, the best, most polished games are coming out on ps3 and have been for a while now, and the eye toy is fantastic for casual gamers and maybe soon hardcore gamers. So if you are going to say ps3 owners are envious then please enlighten us all. But I do agree microsoft ha...
It was cool and it got me excited, I think it's very practical to add wands to the already cool eye!
Does anyone else think they should have shown off a little eye pet? it would have shown that you don't need the wands to interact with the eye camera!! Anyways E3 got me really pumped, as a psp owner also, great support across the board for playstation platforms.
MS had nothing on sony withg there camera.
The ps eye has facial recognition and that uses depth perseption, it has body recognition like in the upcoming game eye pet, and the wands were a very smart move because they are much much more advanced then the wii, but more practical at this time then natal.
I think that natal WILL work!! But eye pet will already be a casual motion hit long before that comes and the wands would be soooo easy to implament into games, and mo...
Regardless if the 360 is "maxed out" it really is on a roll popularity wise. Don't get me wrong I love my ps3 but the 360 really is making it's mark too. Project natal is a step in the right direction for the industry also. I honestly think sony's ps eye will always be just as popular with thing like eye pet and the new wands they made.
But all in all sony should consider microsoft a threat big time, if they don't already!
This game is sick I don't care who you are, if you'r a shooter fan you will be entertained. I think I read an ign article the other day that raved about the depth and size of this game.
But honestly I have seen a kotaku editor on t.v. and he seemed pretty cool and fair to the ps3 on the show, so I can't hate on the site.
SWEET! I want that huge @ss touchscreen, that game looks pimp on it too.
But I don't understand how it's ms that is "changing gaming forever". Sony already has this and has had this for some time, the only thing that the pseye can't do is voice recognition. What sony added was a wand to play sword fighting games and shooting games and such.
I guess MS really, really doesn't want to support sony.... really.
I honestly like having a physical disc, not for music but for movies. There are alot of extras they put on blu rays. I also like downloadable content too though.
There is a reason games stay in development for a while, so they don't look half baked. But I agree gt5 will need crash damage to stay in the game.
Dude.... nice. Taking fitness on consoles to a new level.
