In my humble opinion, I wish they would focus on fixing the audio bugs before they do anything else. I can't tell you how frustrated I was having to quit and restart the game every 30 minutes or so, because mission givers would just stop talking all of a sudden. I can give a pass on random bugs here and there... I just don't see how it got released with something like that going on...
Thank goodness! I'm loving the game, but that flicker made me paranoid that my TV was dying! I looked that up this morning and found out I wasn't the only one having that issue.
Double Dragon 2 is one of the best!! Several good games on this list! Shadowgate, P.O.W., and Klax. That is actually a super fun puzzle game! TMNT, I think every time after the seaweed, I only had like 1 Turtle left. lol
You got that right, bro! I've been a gamer ever since, but it has never seemed to have the magic it did back then!
Lmao, I love Sega! This seems like some side mission you'd run into in a Yakuza game!
Not paying a subscription to read this article.... sorry.
It's seriously a pretty cool game!! I enjoyed my time with it... with the backlog I probably won't revisit it, but it's worth playing for sure, especially if you got it on PS+
Yeah, the price of these is getting ridiculous. I absolutely love arcade games, and was excited when these first came out. But I knew I didn't have space for all of these, nor did I want to spend that money on something with only a couple games on it. I waited around and got a Final Fight machine from Walmart for $99, then later found a Space Invaders there for $75. For that price I just got it because of the native vertical screen. I modded both with a cheap PC and can play thousands of ...
The whole time I played the remake of "Link's Awakening" on my Switch, I kept hoping they would do the oracle games in a similar style.
I want Sniper Elite 5 so bad! Cool they are supporting 4, though!
This game is so awesome! I'm definitely buying this one! I know I'm in the minority, but I really miss good beat 'em up games!
Microsoft is desperate to get people into the Xbox One ecosystem. The next promotion they run is going to be with McDonald's. They are going to give away Xbox One systems with the purchase of a Happy Meal.
What the heck, have I been sucked into a time warp or something?! From the article:
"Shenmue 1 & 2 HD launched at the end of last year however it was immediately criticized by fans due to its unforgiven nature of bugs. Despite being a port of an old game, the bugs made it a hurdle to play through it. This was finally fixed recently by Sega and while the PC port is currently one version higher than the consoles, this new patch fixes some of the more annoying issu...
You are spot on, friend! I played this game when it was new, and was totally blown away by it! There really was nothing like it at the time. I've had buds who didn't play it back in the day ask me about it, and I told them "honestly, I don't know if you will like it as much as I will." But finally getting my hands on this, I'm VERY happy with it! The game holds up to my memories of it. Also, while playing, it takes me back in time to a simpler time in my life, w...
I got Sleeping Dogs on a previous sale for the same price. I had been interested in it, but missed it last gen. I started playing it, and had a ton of fun with it! Definitely the best game I ever bought for 6 bux!
Fire Emblem Heroes and Animal Crossing on mobile phones are F2P games made by Nintendo, aren't they??
As a HUGE Shenmue fan, if you like the Yakuza style game play, and can only afford one title right now, I'd say go with Yakuza Kiwami 2. The 2 franchises have a lot in common, but I'd say Shenmue is a bit slower paced in it's story. But, literally every person in the game has a voice! They don't even do that in modern day games. Those voices may be pretty bad voice acting, but it is there. Lol I don't know how to sell you on buying it, but at the time these games came...
I hope he comes out good with A Way Out, because that game was awesome to play with my bro! One of the standout experiences of this gen to me, really.
i use firefox with ublock origin on android. tried using google chrome, but couldn't find a way to disable ads with it. i do not mind tactful ads within a site, but when they are popping up everywhere left and right, that is the reason folks resort to ad blockers. if the folks making the ads could understand this, it would result in a much better internet for folks just trying to browse the net, and people who rely on income from ads alike.
I just wish you'd pay a price up front, and get every character they are going to release for the game. Or it be like the old days when you could do certain things to unlock the extra characters. I know that will never happen again now, though! lol
