I am sure EA has lost a significant amount of potential sales revenue to that botched job of the Orange Box on PS3 and all the negative press its been getting. I myself was going to buy it on day one, but after hearing about so many bugs and issues with the game, I decided to buy Assassin's Creed instead.

All the 80 gig models were backwards compatible, right when the SKU was first introduced. I own an 80 gig and my entire library of 39 PS2 games and 35 PSone games all work fine on it. Was there any doubt?

MGS4 should accomplish the same feat...if only the inherent biases towards the PS3 weren't so prevalent in a certain portion of the gaming community today.

I've actually already pre-ordered my limited edition of MGS4 on Gamestop.com, so I'll be having it delivered to my house on launch day and I won't have to wait around at midnight with all those geeks that got no obligations to take care of and can just play games all night.
Anybody with more than half a brain could understand the overall plot of the MGS series from part 1 to the new entry of part 4.
Not because it doesn't deserve it (MGS is a golden franchise for me) but because its a PS3 exclusive. It seems "cheek" to hate on the PS3 and its software nowadays. MGS4 should turn the tide on this habit, though.
It was that bad. It doesn't have as good graphics as COD 4, but it still isn't bad. I think this title still is entitled to at least a rental to the normal PS3 owner role. It may not be as good as Call of Duty 4, but it ain't as bad as all the other crap that has as been as prevalent as in the other consoles. Give it a chance, and don't judge it so soon.
