Because I don't want to play a management sim or have to waste my time messing with it in order to play through the game. If it's optional then whatever but if I have to do it it's going to make me get bored of the game.
I feel like everything is trying to shoehorn a management sim in nowadays when I'm looking for an RPG. It's like they want me to play an Excel spreadsheet or something.
I hate that it has this kingdom building feature. Put those resources in to the story and don't waste my time with busywork that doesn't apply to anything. I hated it in Fallout 4 too. It's like I get unfun chores in addition to the story.
I have no use for these old games any of them that I wanted to play I've played by now. Show me something new or GTFO.

It's pretty good. Some of the environments are really cool looking.
Because it looks like shit and Konami are a bunch of dicks that acted like assholes to the creator of this series and then made a soulless cash grab that is Metal Gear in name only.
