Maybe if they put cameras on the outside of the headset so you can see your guitar that would be cool. They should do that anyway so they could incorporate augmented reality.

Streaming games sucks and there will always be latency unless they figure out how to stream them with magic.
I always thought this would be a cool use for the rift. You could make a virtual avatar and hang out with your friends in a virtual world. If this existed when Playstation Home came out it wouldn't have sucked so bad

The game sucks anyway
The real question is what isn't a waste of time. I would say activities that get you paid are not a waste of time since they contribute to your well being in that you can feed and clothe and shelter yourself. Everything else is debatable.
I don't have any problem with these features. I liked Halo 4. Also I'm not a whining crybaby about something as meaningless as a videogame.

I tried to like these games but the story is so lame. I guess it's for 12 year old girls. Too bad, the graphics are pretty good.
I liked the sailing also, It made it so the assassin gameplay didn't get to stale since it was broken up by the sailing.
It is imperative that any major releases come out before Black Friday. Any later and you would be throwing away sales. If they released either one too early however they run the risk of people buying games that come out closer to Black friday. That is why late October/early to mid November is packed with games.
Halo 4 was my favorite.
