I have both systems and I have fun with the games I play on each one regardless of what their resolution or framerate is. Would I take better res or higher fps over lower, sure, but it really isn't a huge deal to me. Now when VR finally comes out, that's when it's going to be important. That's why as soon as prorders are announced for the Oculus Rift I am upgrading my PC's video card. Until then I don't care.
I assume the gameplay is going to be standard TPS fare with some interesting looking weapons, and I'm cool with that. Everyone should already know what a cover based third person shooter plays like. I would guess that a first playthrough would be between 6 and 10 hours. That seems to be what these type of games shoot for.
I can't wait to play it.
That explains it.
A better question would be, what's up with gaming journalists being embarrassed about sex? You don't see that in other forms of media, but in a video game if there's some boobs or a sex scene everyone loses their minds. I'm all for sex in whatever type of media. Call me crazy, but I enjoy it for some reason.
September confirmed.
This looks uninteresting and lame. That Kick and Fennick game on Vita is actually pretty good though.
Graphics look bad. Is this a cell phone game?
Man, that looks amazing. I can't wait to play this. I loved Persona 4 and this looks like more of that but much better.
If anything we're in the golden age of racers right now. They've never been more realistic. Racers from the 80s were terrible. Although Pole Position and Hang On do make me feel nostalgic.
For gods sakes look at the game. Even if it isn't amazing from a gameplay standpoint from a technical one it's incredible. Considering their last games were on portable I would consider this a phenomenal jumping off point for a first console game. The only direction this studio is going is up and Sony would be wise to purchase them.
My mom's new Sony 4K TV supports DLNA, but it sucks and the media server crashes all the time and you have to unplug the TV and plug it back in to get it to work again. I'm hoping they release an update for it, but apparently it's been like that for quite a while.
I really don't care if it's 30 or 60. People are acting like 30 is unplayable. All of the previous Uncharted games were 30 and they played fine. It's hardly even noticeable.
They should absolutely do big head mode.
I agree with him. I thought the city and surrounding areas was one of the richest open worlds to date and the writing was witty and entertaining. One of the most fun games I played last year. I would call this art more than many games out there. Just the radio stations alone were art not to mention everything else.
if the order is 6 hours long I will be sort of disappointed I'm hoping it's 8 to 10.
If they want it to catch on it'll need to be somewhat affordable. especially considering Oculus Rift is launching in the $300 range
I'll buy it if it's less than 200.
It's a shame they don't make it easier to pair a DS4 with the Vita. It doesn't seem like it would be hard.
HoloLens could create the effect of objects climbing out of your TV which could be really cool when applied to gaming. In an FPS bullets could fly past you or in something like Dying light a zobie could lunge out of the screen.
My expectations for this game are squarely in the upper medium range. I have never been disappointed by a game from this studio and everything they've shown for this game looks great. I would be very surprised if it ended up being disappointing.
