Same. I drive an '88, and it feels like racing games skip right over the foxes most of the time.

I feel like scalpers beat the consumers at the console war for this year's launch.

Zelnick and his wife were at an ultra luxury resort I worked at a few months ago and I got to experience how he really is IRL. They were disrespectful as all hell. Constantly wanted stuff changed to accommodate them. They really loved flaunting how much better and more successful they were than "the help." Fuck him and the moneygrubbing way that people like him and Andrew Wilson run publishers.

Like the rabid Xbox fans that payed $500 at launch, then $300 for the S, then $500 for the X? What are you on about?

I can say, as a very content PS4 user, I bought an Xbox One just to play Forza and Halo: MCC with friends. When that fizzled, the Xbox was only a paperweight, so it got sold. I enjoyed my time, but MS couldn't keep me hooked long-term.

As a PS and PC fan, I sincerely hope Xbox does well moving forward. Competition is the best thing for the games industry. Everyone wins.

@kythlyn Speaking of jank in Bloodborne, motion controls for emotes making me sit down when I'm trying to run from enemies and climb a ladder. Seriously, why is that a feature?

@Nitrowolf2
Exactly.

A fine example of this bandwagoning fear-mongering is Link Wray's 1958 hit single "Rumble." It was banned from radio play because its harshness (as per the media and critics) contributed to juvenile delinquency, and it was a damn instrumental song. People will always blame that which they don't understand, provided they mindlessly listen to the loudest voices. Without making light of (or unfair comparisons to) situations curre...

While not really my thing genre-wise, I took a look at your manga and the quality seems fairly good. I appreciate the creativity and your willingness to share your hobby. Good on you chief. Best of luck. o/

Wwise is Audiokinetic's most well known and widely used program, which is used as middleware in order to provide sound files in response to an audio "trigger." Press a button at the main menu, hear a bloop or beep. Wwise is the program that triggered that noise in response to your input. Also used for ambiences and environmental noises. It's popular due to it being engineered to work with several popular cross-title engines such as Unreal, CryEngine, and Unity to name a few....

@PapaBop The starting weapons are every bit as powerful as late game weapons. The only big difference would be in tanks and planes. They get a huge increase in utility as you level them up and unlock new specializations.

I didn't have online gaming until 2011, just PS2 and GBA. Basically played San Andreas until I had to replace the disc. Got it on 360, then later on PS4. 27 completions later with 3 of those being 100% runs, and I still love going back to it.

Because Titanfall 2 didn't sell well due to the games that came out around it drawing attention away, one could assume that Respawn's (Titanfall dev) market value tanked. I'm under the impression that seeing as EA bought Respawn less than a month after it flopped, they had planned to do it from the get-go. The poorly-timed release date was likely a play to make sure EA could buy Respawn at the lowest possible amount.

Am I a conspiracy theorist? Sometimes. Is EA ...

Don't get me wrong, I despise the SJW agenda. Every bit of it is insane revisionist nonsense. However, women did, in fact, serve on the frontlines. There were the unique prodigies like Lyudmila Pavlichenko, who was the most decorated Soviet sniper ever, Poland had the Women's Military Assistance Battalions, Germany had a branch of the SS that was for women: the SS-Helferinnen, both of Churchill's daughters were enlisted, among countless others. The US even had an all-African Ameri...

"Microsoft's playing the long game." As opposed to Sony who's playing the short, mid, and long game and taking home the championship trophy since 2013.

Articles like this are funny.

While BC is a nice feature, definitely, shouldn't the focus be on making the current iteration of games better rather than relying on dated games to sell a console? I'm not big on rebuying content I already own, but its hardly an issue now that we are 4 1/2 years into this generation and I don't have as much of a need for my older games. I'd also point out that due to the fact that Sony has done well with releasing Games as Games; e.g. NieR, Persona, H...
