Q3 report- early february. They sold 6.5m consoles in Q3 2009, I predict something around 5.8-6m this time, wich is more than 360 if 50m number is true (it could be a bit higher) wich means gap is narrowing. We'll see :)
And NPD =/= world too, 360 is selling better in US and UK, PS3 everywhere else (maybe except Australia). PS3 is close to 50m number too after Q3, Sony will release numbers soon (financial report).
