@starchild
No one is being duped.
The architecture of the PS3 and Xbox are well know. Their are documents everywhere on the internet. It is easy for a person with any kind of technical knowledge to see why multiplat games are easier to code for on the Xbox than the PS3.
I've been doing WAY better with it than the DS3. Coming from PC fps's I always hated the game pad though. Felt like the character was submerged in water.
I dont mean to be a troll, but I dont really understand all the praise for red dead redemption. I played through it and it was a fun game, but I can't see it as anything really outstanding.
I've never had strong inclination to be a cowboy. Maybe that more than anything is a the reason.
I've been playing KZ3 with the move for the past week. I'm absolutely loving it. I can't imaging going back to a game pad.
I really like the motion controls in Killzone. I prefer them to the game pad controls we've been stuck with on consoles. Personally, I will not be buying another shooter that doesn't support Move or a Mouse and keyboard.
Next price drop I plan on picking up a Wii. My wife and I really like mario games. That's one new sale there.
You know all things considered I assumed the PS3 would look much worse considering that it is running on technology from 2005. If higher fidelity means production time and costs will go up even more, I'm actually pretty happy where we are at in the graphics department.
I'm all for this. I hate multiplayer because I hate the idiots that ruin the experience. I would happily just buy the SP for 30 dollars. It would cut my gaming budget in half...
Why not have a portable console that I can plug into my TV when I'm at home. Then use blue tooth to connect a controller to it and you you have a home console that you can also take with you.
Cool, I'm looking forward to Larger more influential japanese publishers.
I've been wondering that too.
Yeah. I ended up buying a 360 first. Played a few games on it then bought the PS3 a while after it came out.
Had PS3 been an option at the time, I probably would never have bought a 360.
I dont care if it lives up to the hype. I'm getting it anyway :P
Of course it doesn't matter. It's not on Xbox360..... lol...
Sony doesn't care about selling more consoles at the cost of selling no software. They have been losing ALOT of money on each console sold for the vat majority of the PS3's life cycle.
Selling a lot of consoles and NO software means that they are just going to loose a bunch of money. When you are a business, losing a bunch of money never means you won anything.
I'm going to be sad if the PS3 turns into the psp... Piracy turned it into a wasteland I liked playing good games...
I hope it doesn't turn into a handful of good titles each year, if that.
God forbid we leverage the technology available...
I wish I had a job where I didn't need to be right.
We should care because some engines are known to be shitty. Not that any of the Mass Effect engines have been shitty.
We dont have to know someone personally when we see them act like a douche bag in public all the time.
