I must be getting too old for this gaming lark. maybe its time to Quite before they come out with a photo realistic game where you play a murderer going on a rampage in some major city, burying bodies in the park. where the aim of the game is to avoid capture by the police and survive a shootouts with the FBI.

I am finding it hard to justify my PS4 purchase right now. I have only had it for just over a month.
I bought it for NBA 2014 and play that quite a bit. But I hardly play infamous Second Son. I also this week got Tomb Raider on the cheap and Killzone at a bargain basement £12!

I am a big fan of American games on console. I Play NFL games and NBA 2014. But is this baseball game heading to Europe? I have not seen it advertised anywhere.
I used to play this game to get a rest from my racing, shooting and sports games. It is a slow paced game and it made me feel like I was on holiday from playing games.
the QTE was great. it was the first time I saw it in any game. now nearly every game tries the same. recently Tomb Raider reboot used it.
You don't need to change anything about Shenmue. It was and is brilliant.

I was looking forward to playing the Trilogy on my new and Shiny WiiU ,but they only brought Mass Effect 3 out. I got a copy for £7.99. What a bargain. It was better in every way from the Xbox360 version I had.
Why no Trilogy for WiiU if they were going to bring them on XboxOne and PS4 anyway.? doesn't make sense.

I managed to find Tomb Raider for £20 this weekend for PS4. Better still I got Killzone Shadow Fall on PS4 for £12. I was not going to get Killzone, but for that price why not.

there is no doubt that PS4 has plenty of games. but have you seen the prices !! PS3 and Xbox360 games were on average £40. now XboxOne and PS4 games are on average £60.
last generation, within the first couple of months of release I had at least half a dozen games for each console.
This generation I bought a PS4 first and have only 2 games. one of which I got with the machine. And it looks like it will be a while before I even consider buying an XboxOne.
What is wrong with gamers today. The Nintendo WiiU is a great gaming machine with plenty of "AAA" titles on it right now.(more than the competition at the minute). So why not buy it?

You forget. Here in the UK prices are higher. it will be £60 full price over here. That is far too much for a remastered game. What is that in the USA $80?? That's a real question by the way.
Even second hand PS4 and Xbox One games are £45 plus. Its ridiculous. Whats that, like $65 for second hand?? That's another question.

I like the fact that Ubisoft are still supporting the WiiU also. its all about money these days and they are prepared to wait until the sales pick up on WiiU. Which they will. I will buy Watch Dogs on WiiU instead of my PS4 because of the Gamepad functions. But ONLY if it is NOT a Grand Theft Auto 5 clone with sex and violence being the main theme of the game.
Maybe that is why the WiiU version has been delayed. To tone down the game for the Nintendo crowd.
Does this mean the WiiU version of Watch Dogs will have the DLC on the disc when it comes out in the autumn?
Much like Mass Effect 3. Maybe it is worth waiting for on WiiU after all.
