When I went to preorder the Xbox One (I paid off my PS4 preorder a day after E3) there was quite a few people popping in and out of the store asking if they were still taking preorders for PS4, the cashier informed them they weren't and directed them to go Sony's online store.. crazy! PS4 is definitely the product of interest.
My excitement is kind of drained. I mean I've been hyped almost a year in advance before there was any official talk of these devices, so it's hard to be all "OMMMGGGGGGGZZZZ!!111!!11 one!" when I already got to that point. I can safely say though that this wait is extremely hard.. even with great titles still inbound.
I loved SSD HD.. I spent hours playing it because it was quick and fun, it also didn't hurt knowing it was the first game to have trophies~
Walmart is opening Pre-orders for PS4 TODAY!, so if you haven't gotten one yet, now is definitely your chance.
This is the second time this year an investor (not sure if it's the same guy) has said that they should sell off the gaming division. While I highly doubt that the company is considering any of this even in the smallest bits, it may be brought up more and more if the investments they made in X1 aren't returned at a specific rate.
Welcome to the game industry. The Chinese Room is only doing what they feel is the best decision, even if the PC community doesn't agree with it. I understand you may not believe they needed financial help, but at the end of the day this is coming straight from the horses mouth.
