What? I’ve never seen a year go that cheap
@gunstar75 because if something bad is said about a fanboys company of preference they feel obligated to do their best to drag the other through the mud. FYI this applies to all fanboys
Just as Sony show odd their games on the Pro, Microsoft show theirs off on the X. Both companies want to showcase the best versions... there’s nothing wrong with that lol
Look, days gone isn’t going to be the next huge franchise for PlayStation but it’s looking like a solid title for fans of the genre and another exclusive for the PS4 which is certainly looking better than Microsoft’s exclusive releasing on February 22nd so articles like this are unnecessary.
I don’t think they mind lol. PS4 has quality single player exclusives and there’s a reason it was called the ‘lonelystation’ which was stupid but there’s just more single player games on PS4 and the multiplayer scene isn’t very big so there’s not as much call for this
As far as I’m aware all the forms games have sold minimum of 1mil plus so I wouldn’t use them as an example. Quantum Break was a weird one, I personally really enjoyed the game but a lot of people were turned off by the TV stuff. Recore has a great concept but it’s execution was poor. But you’re right heavy marketing doesn’t always equal huge sales success, look at Detroit
Remember they had a very limited marketing budget because of the fact they had to fund everything to release this game so it was mostly the good reviews and word of mouth. This is an impressive feat and I wish them all success working with Microsoft who can throw their marketing might and mammoth resources behind them
Nobody cares? Greg Miller (a well known self confessed Playstation fanboy has even called Sony out for this) nd there’s PLENTY of gamers I’ve seen on twitter and other forums calling them out, it seems it’s a bigger issue than some are trying to downplay it to be
Given a fair number of titles have hit the magic 4K 60fps mark on the Xbox One X I hope dying light 2 can too, i absolutely loved the first game
Some people just plain and simple prefer th simplicity of a console where it’s a closed system and you don’t have to worry about driver problems and the like. Also, you can bet your dollar that the next Xbox will beat out any pc built at the same price
@goldby look at the division or destiny, these shared world RPG games are HUGE and you can be sure Anthem will outsell any other game on February 22nd by a fair margin
Days gone isn’t really a competitor for this title since the games are on different platforms.. tbh both days gone and crackdown 3 should be worried about being buried by anthem
Does anybody remember the last guardian?
The thing is I’m actually really interested in the game I’m just saying it may get pushed back because it may need extra polishing and to avoid getting buried by anthem but the game has a really interesting take on ‘zombies’ so I hope to see it succeed
Not really sad, Sony do the same with the pro and games are demoed on the pro just as Microsoft demos their games on the X. It’s only logical both companies would showcase the best versions but it is rather odd you take issue with only the one company
How can you insinuate this team isn’t talented after the graphical feats that they pulled off on base X1 hardware?
You guys are all on point, their investment in buying those studios just reaffirmed their commitment to Xbox with investment
PS4 Exclusive Days Gone Appears Basic, And That's Worrying‘ from gamespot ‘
Reports from e3 aren’t looking too good for days gone so wouldn’t be surprised to see that pushed back, we will see if MS finally push out the rather bad looking crackdown 3, Metro only game I am sure I will get on the day of release because of the quality of the studio, anthem I will wait for early reports to see if it makes same mistakes as destiny
How do you think they’re able to make all these studio acquisitions? From what I’ve heard Game Pass is generating a huge amount of revenue for xbox
