No wifi, means no ps3(wireless)connectivity,no web browser, no skype and probably a lot of other browser based features like the sense-me app...loving it so far. NOT!
My sentiments exactly. I also want them to use scripted damage(not the procedural damage of gt5)and windscreens should crack and shatter, tires should blowout...i want race ending damage and all premium models even in the used car garage.plenty please polyphony digital.id also add less static environments(trees that move with d wind esp.in bad weather)
I like that sony support their console even into a new generation.if only the original xbox still had games like need for speed, fifa soccer and other yearly titles im sure it would still be selling cos face it, it was more powerful than the playstation2 specs wise and it had a hdd.
@mc kool k he was talking about psn not the ps 3 xmb.it isnt easy to navigate for a first time user imho.
I guess his clip automatically tops up too when he reloads and he doesnt have to discard the half empty catridge. STUPID!
A. I u cant see coming? I disagree with that.a game has to play like a puzzle u can figure out or else it would be too hard and not fun to play at all.leave that kinda thing for real life...imagine if every enemy in uc2 behave like player controlled characters?forget crossing the first few chapters.if i play as a guard u wont sneak past me thats for sure.
One answer. PSjb especially outside the US. Killzone 3 and black ops were amongst the most backed up games after custom firmwares on the ps3 hit.
If i want to purchase an item and u warn me i cant return or trade it in,i aint buying. Like some chick asking me to meet her parents before she would tell me her name.something must be off.
I can relate to how it would prevent used game sales.after i obtained the railgun and infinite rocket launcher in re5,the game lost all its appeal both co op and single player even if it was fun racking up points to get both items.i sold off both items so i can play sometimes.it sucks to use someone elses complete save.
Ive always played games on a playstation console for years before i tried out gears of war on the 360.i didnt naturally know where x,y,a or b were so i needed to look down to tap buttons.u can imagine how terrible i played.relating to this experience years ago,im wondering how useful having a screen on a controller would be on any fastpaced game.
We still dont know how Drake got his weapons and hand to hand combat skills?was he a marine?splintercell did a flashback mission depicting sam in warzone middle east.im hoping for a drake origins story or something like that. Cant wait for november though.
Wow!so many on point, insightful and objective comments here. I guess fanboyish attitudes only crop up when ms is mentioned beside sony. Nintendo/sony articles brings more intelligent discussions.
Havent really played zelda but darksiders felt like god of war 2 in high definition..from the climbable demon growths,to the flying sections, even the "o"prompt 1 hit finishers and boss qtes.
sony should have been more forthcoming with info on this problem instead of leaving clients to speculate.
Is it ever gonna happen?it would be amazing to see what the psp can do as a 3rd person shooter...
i finished good of war 3 in two sittings in a space of two days...approx. 15 hours(tho the ingame timer says 11hrs or so)...killzone2 in one ten hour sitting the same week.if the game is compelling and i havent played it before and im off work...i can go ten hrs no prob..but that is just 2 or 3 games every year.ac2 you are next.
without 3g capability the go wasnt ever going to appeal to a large audience..my phone has wifi but ive never used it cos most times u cant find decent signal.i wouldnt a go even if the price drops...
i remember with feelings not akin to fondness how i struggled to use after touch in heavenly sword and dark sector via the 6 axis pad.sony is sticking its neck out with the move. i know i hate motion controls cos it is inaccurate.
Pirated versions of the gow2 game in circulation were probably 10 times more than the official boxed copies.Trust me more than 3million ps2 owners had gow2 but 80%of them played or bought the pirated copies.
Onlive can only work in regions with fast net speeds. If we can agree that sony/microsoft make the most money from royalties on games sold and not the console hardware,i honestly dont see why they wont embrace onlive.
