Yeah, but I'm not sure if the new PS3 Slim will be announced... Rumors say it was delayed because current PS3 selling well and there's pretty much no need to release a cheaper model.
We'll see tho, I wouldn't mind to see the new sliding-top mechanism in action :D
Usually there rarely are any big surprises at Gamescom... Just the same E3 games and stuff.
What I hope to see:

NFS MW Vita trailer/gameplay
At least one Vita surprise
At least one PS3 surprise
A show with these ^ announcements above would be a very good show for me. Depending on how good those game are for sure
