@Gran Touring
I want to play the game but I don't want to support them. So, I will either not buy the game or I will pirate it. Either way, they'll get no money from me. So, whatever I end up doing, the end result is the same for them.
I own both MC and TR and they are very different games. If you want to use lame comparisons like that, I'm sure we could call MC "3D Terraria without the cool gear, dungeons, and adventure."
They're different games. Get over it.
The problem with your premise is the idea of 'fake entertainment.' Something is either entertaining to someone or it isn't.
You've been able to play Nazis, terrorists, and madmen in several games before. Not a big deal. Fox just needed more bullshit to rile up some drama and hysteria out of the poor idiots who swallow their propaganda.
That's because the title of the article should've read "New study finds that XBOX is Hitler and PS3 is Stalin." or something to that effect. That would've gotten dozens of comments.
So much drama. If 25-man raids die because people prefer doing 10-mans despite more badges, gold, and gear per raid member, then obviously not enough people cared about 25-man raids to begin with.
Maybe because IT IS coming out on PC?
Check out the official website: "Games for Windows"

You can even pre-order it for PC already.
Same here. I've paid lots of money for games I wish I would've just torrented. However, I've done the opposite. Evil Genius is one I recently bought after years of playing it with a pirate copy. Oblivion is another game like that and so is Mass Effect. I pirated those games. I liked them a lot and then I bought them on Steam for cheap.
Except downloading games is NOT stealing. It's copying them. Whether it's copying them legally or not, it's another matter entirely.
Are you really equating trafficking a living being with making a copy of a game? Wow...
@cpuchess
If people can replicate my console or PC and use it to play their games, then I don't care since COPYING IS NOT STEALING. If you come into my house and take my console, I won't be able to play games on it anymore. If I download a game illegally, they can still sell it and do whatever else just as they could before.
I agree with you entirely. It all boils down to him not liking RPGs and trying to change them into what sounds like action or shooter games.
It's like someone saying: "I love hamburgers but they shouldn't have lettuce, bacon, cheese, tomatoes, onions, buns, and the meat should not be ground." Then, you don't like hamburgers, sir; You like steaks. So, go get a steak and stop trying to change how everyone gets their burgers.
Leord,
You're missing the point, those complaining in the forums do NOT speak for the majority of Diablo players. I have been a Diablo fans for years since the first one and I have never posted on the official Diablo forums.
Unfortunately, whether people like these races or not, this shows Square's usual lack of imagination and willingness to take risks. I think this is contributing to the current decline in popularity of JRPGs.
I don't know where people, like the reviewer in this article, come off saying that Spirit Tracks is hard. It isn't. I am not complaining that it was easy mode or anything like that but it definitely was NOT hard AT ALL. It wasn't even harder than Phantom Hourglass as they claim. Contrary to what the reviewer says, the bosses are indeed just like any other Zelda where you have to use the weapon from that dungeon and, again, they are NOT hard.
I mean, I don't consider myself a grea...
@3.2
The Warden's Keep won't appear on your map until you've talked to the guy in your camp. He gives you a quest to help him clear his family's name.
For me, the flexibility of setting up the game the way I like it, the ability to do other stuff while I'm playing, and the fact that the game will undoubtedly look better on PC than on any console outweigh the problems I might have with the game.
I don't know why homophobes like you are tripping. It's not like you HAVE TO have sex with ANYONE in the game. Gay or not.
What are you talking about? MW2 dropped from 5th to 7th place. It's not doing even doing as well as CoD4 did!
Ummm... Sorry to bust your bubble but Amalur is nothing like JRPGs.
