pay for an internet service, then pay to use that service for gaming, then pay extra to play a single game on that same account - Not my cup of tea
i hope this isnt a trick. but it would be a pretty nice treat :D
Halloween anyone?
meus i really like your comments, and i usually agree 100% with what you say, so please dont take my comments to be offensive. i was not saying that every muslim should apologise for 9/11, far from it. what i am saying is that there is a compaint when it was a (presumably) muslim person that created the song, but when some idiot produces a 9/11 level on that same game, it is kind of ironic. i saw the comments on youtube from people 'bigging' that level up, yet we all know that it would be the...
also, what i find funny, is that when some dude made a september 11th level, i never heard an outcry from the islamic gaming community condemning his actions. Yet when a mistake (im 100% sure that it was) of putting a fully licensed track, available to buy in shops and itunes that contains 2 lines from a verse that states that in the end, everything will die.
if it really isnt allowed for qu'ranic scripture to be put into song, then why on earth would a somalian (somalia is a mus...
1- In the 18th second: "كل نفس ذائقة الموت" ("kollo nafsin tha'iqatol mawt", literally: 'Every soul shall have the taste of death').
2- Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: "كل من عليها فان" ("kollo man alaiha fan", literally: 'All that is on earth will perish').
tbh, its the only path sony could have taken. not doing so, while good for the short term (ie keeping us gamers happy) could have marred the games name. had it have been a shootemup or something similar, they probably could have gotten away with it. with the demographic including children, parents would have definitely been put off getting this game for their kids. i remember seeing a parent refuse to get resistance because of the whole church debacle. he didnt know anything about the game, a...
sarcasm is a lovely thing
who knew the church and islam were 360 fanboys? first resistance, now this! theyre trying to take down sony game by game!
/joke
crusades and jihads heading to sony HQ soon.
apparently so. when a danish newspaper drew a cartoon of mohammed, people started burning ephergies(?) of the artist.
btw i am not muslim, nor did i write the complaint
i think exactly the same. however, upon reading some of the replies on euPS forums, apparently the qu'ran should not be used in song. something like that.
bubs for you too!
perseus: its ok, i didnt want everyone getting the impression that it was me that wrote it lol
knavex: i havent heard the song, but it was an actual track, available to buy on itunes etc. maybe it fitted with the safari theme, apparently the guy who sang it was from Mali in Africa. I bet MM just heard it and thought it fit, not knowing the contents of the lyrics.
sackboy better run before they start burning him on the streets...
thats not my view - i just CnPed
im just as P8ssed as everyone else is about this
ooops sorry, didnt see that it was already there
EDIT
ok lol

lol calm down with the conspiracy theories, its probably nothing.
seriously, the microwave corridor in mgs4 was a killer. having to mash the button down trying to push snake along, inch by inch to get him to the end, and watching everything else going on - the other ship and raidens fight, was something thats stuck out for me emotionally, more than any game, and more than a lot of movies have ever done. Kojima missed a real moment though, if it was the player that finished snake off, just like in MgS3, having to pull the trigger yourself
mgs 3...
damn i guess im too late
well someones a bit late to the party. ok, we get it, IV wasnt the greatest thing since sliced bread, but i still thought it was great. i think a lot of the haters are fanboys that disliked the fact that the 360 was shown more love with this DLC nonsense. i also think peoples expectations are too high this gen, and think every game should be near enough perfect, but when its not, they slate it constantly
