Godmars290: the meta score from people that played the game s 6.7 out of 10 which isn't a bad score so what the fuckkk are you talking about? making your own facts again?
oh! and that means almost 7 out of 10 people liked the game.
Godmars290: "What few people who bought a game that would have crashed and burned harder than it did?
The devs tried to do their own thing, different from the norm, and it didn't work or sell."
the game sold almost 2 million units.
so i stopped reading after your uninformed first few comments.
i bring facts and you give opinions.
is it me or are we seeing this "what we demand" articles all the time for this game? and if we don't get "what we want" from this game does it become garbage because it didn't meet some journalists expectation.
why don't we all allow the devs to do what they do without making their job harder and have them second guess what they're doing.
imagine some of the great musical artist making music they thought people would li...
lol better than a console that makes children's games for manchildren.
@Godmars290: "The main issue is that there was a disconnect in what devs wanted to do with the game, and what gamers wanted out of the game.
And the gamers wanted a *GAME*. What they got was a story. A poorly written and paced one, one highly cliche, that came in a pretty package not pretty enough to forgive it's faults."
all that and I'm still waiting for you to post a link that shows them saying the game would be like Uncharted.
@Godmars290: ".Also have to wonder that is the gaming media failed to properly describe the game, when it was a Sony AAA production, how is that not the devs failing to describe and promote the game to the gaming media?"
they did let everyone know what the game was but , like usual, the morons that bought the game didn't listen, or can't F-ing read.
and they had the "gaming media" play the game a month before launch so so yeah...
to all the people that feel cut scenes and quick time events are bad i say to you that some of us in the community like to play games like that from time to time. not every game needs to be jump, run, shoot and an open world.
i loved the game and i hope they get a chance, whether in book form or game, to finish the story.
@Godmars290: "where the Order was suppose - and expected - to be an action game along the lines of Uncharted." Bull$hit
no where did they say it was supposed to be like Uncharted.
and they had people from gaming sites go to their head quarters and demo the game months before the game released. the people that demoed the game stated what kind of game it was so your argument is full of $hit.

production costs had nothing to do with it. it was the bad media it received by a gaming community that are full of hypocrites that "JUST LOVE" Tell Tale games with their button prompts but disliked the order having theirs.
HYPOCRITES ALL!
oh my, not every game has to be game play first. look at the tel tale games and see their success and they have no game play whatsoever except a button prompt from time to time. no, the order suffered from the good old console war bullshit. people that ended up playing it at a discount without the negativity in their ears enjoyed the game, me being one of them, and want Sony to make another one.
let's hope they do because i loved the story and the combat.... not everyth...
actually i just don't think a game that looks like t was released in 2009 and has weak combat and overly simple puzzles with a barren open world should be game of the year. the story is the same over and over again and it suffers from frame rate issues.
the same game under a different name wouldn't get the time of day... but it's Nintendo and it's Zelda so it gets a pass for being a mediocre open world game.
and when did i say it was a bad game?
Nostalgia won game of the year.
yeah,,, I'm starting to think it's going to be one of those "blunder" type situations. hope y see a lot more at E3.
true
i think Horizon is a little better but it's also 3 yrs younger than DC. https://imgur.com/a/cgYLU
yeah but theirs s shit compared to DC.
Shaka Zulu would be a great addition
@bolimekurac: probably sooner than Cyberpunk 2077 though right? what I'm saying is they should be showing some kind of game play by now. it was announced in 2012 for crying out loud.
they did tell everyone what the game was almost 2 years before it was released. why is it that you guys stick to this idea that they some how lied to the public?

What kind of game is it?
It's a third-person action/adventure. That's one of those things that we pride ourselves on having done in the past and wanting to do in the future. Our expertise is there, (and we definitely wanted it to b...
