Of course they are going to say that. they're not going to say "yeah, its alright but not our best work" are they?
Ha! Last time I checked, that kind of behaviour IS professional!
They ARE spying on you. For marketing purposes. I have to trick Win10 into thinking I'm on a metered internet plan to stop it downloading updates at will. Nothing worse than being in a 1000 ticket BF4 match, and getting prompted to re-boot after putting up with stutter all the way through the match from updates downloading in background.
Kinda gotta go with Halbard on this one. Whilst it's a solid OS, and good for gaming, MS have really out done themselves this time when it comes to subversive tactics and taking advantage of the lay-person. Mores so than ever. You can switch all the undesirables off, but you really have to know where to look and have at least some minor PC experience.
@solidgear3
I stuff around a lot and NEVER fast travel. I really take my time with these kinds of RPG's. Sniffing and poking at every corner. It is my first fallout and took a bit of getting used to aswell.
@nitus10 I play on "Story & Sword". It's a bit easier now (lvl37) but the first DLC gave a renewed challenge. I LOVE the combat in TW3. You have to actually PLAY it and think about your tactics. Not just hack 'n' slash.
The Witcher 3 hands down. I've logged nearly 300hrs on that game and STILL loving it. Waiting for DLC.
As for Fallout 4, look, its a good game. Acceptable graphics, appropriate environments.........but boring. Fetch quests galore and the crafting system is a head ache. Like having to carry a type writer taking up 5 points for 2 screws. I like it, addictive but it's just missing something. having said that, I've only logged about 100hrs and level 30. Maybe it will ...
So was the latest Dragon Age. Took 3DM a little longer (about a month) but they cracked it eventually. I suspect the same for these and other title using Denuvo.
Yeah, thanks microsoft and you're shitty, mean marketing techniques. So unless you own an inferior X1, then you miss out on this game for the Xmas rush. I don't understand why the publisher's & Devs agreed to this terrible timed exclusivity agreement. Missing out on 2/3rds of the Xmas sales is a big deal. MS must of thrown a hell of a lot of money at them.
It's practices like this that are the reason I can't stand MS. It's also the main reason Bill...
hopefully addresses the unexplainable frame drops on PC version.....
What a load of rubbish
It's Bethesda. So bound to be riddled with bugs and performance issues initially. Most will be ireoned out in time.
Sad industry when you have to quell your excitement and hold off getting this game for weeks, maybe even months until it is of acceptable quality. Like what happened to me with TW3 PC. a few quests from the end, and on the 11 patch, it plays like a different game. I put up with that horse animation glitch for so many hours.....
lol. Ahhh another devout X1 fan still waiting for the silver bullet that will never come......
So it should. The X1 needs all the juice it can just to keep up!!!!
No it won't. DX12 benefits are mainly with PC. If anything, it may help to increase the X1's FPS. thats about it.
A surge in sales over Xmas they say?
Wow. Genius'
I do. It can't. If it hasn't happened by now, it won't. Good luck next gen.
I am pleased to say that patch 1.10 is a MASSIVE improvement on PC. Better performance, graphical improvements such as better in game DOF and finishing moves etc.
But the BIGGEST improvement is CDPR finally addressed that highly annoying animation loop stutter when walking on Roach. Damn it was annoying. Too bad I have finished most of the game putting up with it.
I would like to confirm that Xbots are getting exactly what they desrve this gen. Last gen, the abuse Sony fans coped was outrageous. Remember the shockingly biased "Lens of Truth"? If you were a Sony fan the site users would baasically abuse the hell out of you and chaase you off the threads.
Both camps are as bad as each other. What goes around, comes around. Good luck for next gen.
thank god for something different! FC4 reminded me of a re-skinned FC3 and I got so bored I couldnt bring myself to finish it.....
what a bunch of entitled brats most of sound like. Its a good game. Put your pitch forks down. its threads like this that give everyone, including the sane ones, in the industry (fans alike) a bad name. You bought the game. You took the risk, stop trying to cheap out and wear it. I've spent far more and played far worse than NMS.
