I never used my ps4 or even ps3 for movies, i also watch them digitally in my gaming computer. Not relevant to me, sad to be in your place lol , if anything i don't mind removing it and focusing on gpu/cpu. I want a gaming hardware , there is a reason why it's not called watchstation.
What i understood so far is that since they wanted to make an affordable hardware yet impressive for it's time and keep up with 4k/HDR tech, not only they boosted the gpu and cpu.( they also took advantage of custom hardware and made advanced techniques and methods to produce higher resolution with higher assets, meaning pc with the same price and maybe even same specs wouldn't be able to have the same result as ps4 pro.

For me i love using the tanks and planes more than bf4. Horses are awesome. Vehicles feels like they were well made(with few exceptions), so it have some sense of quality and depth. But to destroy them you need team effort, that's my only problem when i am playing a lone or with people that don't want to work together.
As for walking , my only problem is with jumping over things. Doesn't feel smooth and causes many awkward and annoying situations.
For Sony that's the case which is fair to those who bought the ps4 and also keep the concept of generation going meaning we will get ps5 with such upgrade. I concur, even though the developers didn't want to spoil the game. It was very clear that this is another minecraft situation(Not saying the vision, i mean the developing process of the game). At first you feel like you are just building but overtime it became interesting and fun because of the added features.
I never bought it because of the lack of content. But i am sure if no man sky developers were smart they would already expect such reaction and they should of been working on many new features that actually make the game fun and deep. The only problem is that they need to clarify this for people more. They already said that at some point they had to release it meaning they didn't finish it the way they want it because it takes a lot of time.
Whenever a developer reveal a game i look at it's vision, that's why my expectations are in line. I can even rate the game before i even play it and usually get the same result after playing it because i know what they are making , i know how much effort they put in it based on their history, also many other small factors that help me. Yes, it should be free, never approved this step, sadly after tasting profits it will be hard to see them making such step. However, i think sony is doing this to prepare for AAA games on +, i think developers are demanding for more before giving access, also + had similar timing to provide such games too. This gen will last at least 6 years because of the neo. So i am not worried about AAA games on +. It will come eventually.
Exactly, it would be a nice surprise, very good step for consumers and people will appreciate it , but i don't like expecting such things. I am expecting it to be cheaper for sony in release but cheaper for us in the future. That's how slim version worked last gen.

I own a 4k tv and i am not expecting a 4k support. even if it happened i wish if sony put two modes where you can choose high assets/frame or 4k with a sacrifice. That's much more practical and consumer friendly. Hope sony aim and encourage that. People love options.
