Me and my friends were actually talking about what they could do with the story and we're thinking this story is going to be a prequel and will revolve around Emergence Day and could end when Marcus gets locked up.
If it had a stronger story I think it would be better. Like if Nicky was his wife and his daughter was killed. Also a jump button would be nice since it's pretty dumb you can't make it across a 1 foot gap on a roof.
Either way though as far as gameplay goes it's a lot of fun. Definitely don't think its a flop at all.
I have to say I expected this to happen. The division looked way to good for something on consoles.
As long as the gameplay isn't compromised I'll be ok with it but if they remove some things that effects gameplay then I'd be pissed.
But the author is right this does need to stop.
Those gravity mines were a fun addition too.
One thing that wasn't even mentioned in the article was something that was barely touched on at the conference which is Crackdown.
At first it seemed like just another game but then the cloud was mentioned at the end and almost nobody picked up on it. Then Phil mentioned (after E3) the cloud demonstration was actually Crackdown in the early stages. That's huge since it's the first game to really use the cloud and it was hardly mentioned at E3. Not to mention almo...
Never would have guessed that a game like Crackdown would have destructible environments like that.
All I have to say is that Crackdown with destruction like that is going to be F@#$%$ EPIC!
I completely agree with you. I never thought it would be a waste but I felt it might let me down a bit and like you I was wrong. I'd give it the same rating. I've actually found myself dying a few times since I screwed up what I was planning and quickly got killed. The enemies in this game are far smarter than in some sandbox games and if you don't mess with the difficulty setting (making it easier) they put up one hell of a fight.
It seems like this author either...
Are these the skills shown in the video that can only be acquired by invading/being invaded? If so there's no real problem if you don't start playing with it enable. If it's all skills though that's game breaking and will likely ruin it.
Either way though that's a terrible idea.
I really hope it's a Halo 5 reveal with some info. One of the games I'm really looking forward too.
Sadly I feel this will be Halo 2 though.
Called it! I knew a cheaper version would surface ever since Ubi mentioned their version of it.
I feel the same way especially if it's a multiplayer game. And seriously a drop shot feature...?
But I've been thinking of making a new design for my controller with LED's, all i can say is thank god for play and charge because of it.
Edit: Nevermind far less options than i thought.
Might be similar, but doesn't mean they're the same. Considering they were developed individually they were fully utilizing the ps4, x1, and high end pc's.
If you were going to think they weren't fully utilizing the consoles power expect to see the X1 version at a higher or equal res not one of the lowest possible for this gen.
It running at a lower res doesn't mean that Ubisoft or the game sucks. If anything it would mean the game is more demanding on the hardware than infamous is.
Witcher 3 will more than likely run sub 1080p on ps4 does that mean simply because it's not 1080p u won't buy it? (I know witcher's res was a rumor but seeing as games being developed for pc and not consoles as the primary are running sub 1080p on ps4 witcher more than likely will too.)
For the most part it's rumors that get shut down. The only "bad news" was the massive delay. Otherwise it was mostly rumors set by people like watch dogs running perfectly at 1080p/60 fps on ps4 (which I find hilarious that people actually believed that). Now I'm just waiting for the latest rumor involving basically the textures and particles to be terrible in watchdogs to get shut down
And I'm guessing the delay was worth it, because they either had trouble running the game at 1080p on ps4 or they really did refine it that much more and that caused a decrease in res.
I wonder how badly this will hurt the games sales.
better late than never.
My only problem with this is that it's not co-op singleplayer since it was already announced that sp is sp only. And i've heard that the co-op online mode isn't like a free roam and do missions but some sort of horde mode. It still seems like a lot of fun, but this kind of game definitely seems like it would be more fun if there was something like a co-op story.
Starting to think we should make petitions for things like this to see if they would think of implement...
This E3 is going to have so many amazing games it will probably be the best ever!
Thats awesome this game is starting to remind me of DR3 but more fast paced
It depends on the way you look at it. The war also drives competition and that by far is the best thing for the industry. The problem lies with the fans when they take it serious and it gets out of control.
So good for business and enjoyment (when people actually play the games on their consoles), but sadly fanboys tend to take it to far with personal attacks and threats.
