that which is lacking is the ability to expand on the game quality with out hitting the brick wall that is having to play by the limitation of the weaker console(360).

you wanna talk about lag or massive problems look at any vids on kinect (except microsoft produced vids) and tell me thats not lag and problems. so far first hand looks at the kinect have yielded the overwhelming result of a faulty peripheral for a faulty system.
it is a desirable feature but its not essential for gaming functionality.
Ok so pc gaming which forces you to have top of the line hardware (which can run you upwards of $900, if you wanna play good games) is better than consoles in its method of delivery and retention of older games. thats why most consoles have some sort of backwards compability. (ps3 will have it again for their newer models when the ps2 stops being sold.) and the reason for hard disk media is that most people don't have the extremely high bandwidth to download 7+ gigs of data for just one g...
if you look at basically any tech demo for the kinect (that is not staged by microsoft) you'll see that it has so many glitches, that it just doesn't work. the game(not a typo) that do work play themselves all you do is position yourself a certain way for a sec every once in a while and it will play for you.
real gamers play for them selves man.
