Jesus Christ...isn't there anything this game can't do?!?
L.A. Noire
Portal 2
Killzone 3
Gran Turismo 5
Red Faction Guerrilla
and Grand Theft Auto IV (Complete Edition)
I would be playing Dead Space 2 multiplayer but I got a new PS3 during the time PSN was down. The old one died without warning. Now I can't even play online! Dead Space 2 came with an activation code that you MUST use if you want to play online. This is tied to your PSN account so try the game elsewhere, you need to buy the...
This is a fantastic review! I also LONG preordered God of War 3, and I have played the demo well over 100 times. I just never got tired of how awesome it always was. I'll never forget how fantastic this game is. Really reminds you of those good times.
Some people will take realism over the lack of it. I'll give you a simple aspect: driving/simulation games.
Some people will chose Burnout Paradise over Forza or Gran Turismo 5 because they won't to just have over the top fun, and not have to worry about precise, perfect. They want it simple and fun.
Others will chose something that reflects reality, something that they feel comes close to their real life experiences.
It's all de...
@Wenis
Perhaps you have been asleep this whole time? This gen sure had its tough/bad spots, but it is nevertheless an improvement in terms of features and technicality, over last gen. For example this gen opened a new window to our games and entertainment: online playing. For example, Call of Duty's most important aspect is online playing. Sure the campaign is 5 hours long but thanks to online, replay value and reason to keep owning the game is even better.
...and maybe the old Square Soft can be reborn out of this? I miss them dearly.
Thanks for the comment! That's some very interesting luck there. Now you get to have the game for free :). I already own the game on disc, but I just upgraded my 120 GB PS3 to 750 GB and wouldn't mind having this game readily available for me to play on the hard drive, rather than inserting the game every time I need to play.
Perhaps it's a bug simply caused by the PS store being offline/unavailable?
Either way, I'm loving the game and hopefully when the store goes back online, the PS3 won't freeze when I try to access the DLC section...or maybe a patch will be released...either way we're gonna have to wait. :)
Gilmore Girls? Hmm...
Mine didn't freeze my PS3, until I reached the main menu, then went to the DLC section. L.A. Noire tried to look for DLC but oops...PSN store wasn't up yet and this caused the entire system to freeze. I had to force-shutdown my PS3.
Turned it back on, all went well, but I avoided going back to the DLC section again!
Thanks! Damn, I wish N4G would alert me when someone at least posts a comment on my review. You won't be disappointed in your choice. You'll enjoy inFAMOUS!
I never thought I'd say such a thing about my Xbox 360, but let's hope the new firmware does the same to me. I could really use a new slim right about now!
They do. For example I'm currently playing L.A. Noire, and it is BIG.
I don't know what people were bitching about. I looked at the program. I already own every game on the list, including the PSP versions but you have to think about the fact that there are others who don't have all of those games and would gladly take them for free.
Sony is giving people here an opportunity of getting good games for free, (literally millions of copies) and it's surprising to see people bitch about this in agony. These games will be available for 30...
Go ahead and grab a copy. Trust me, You won't be disappointed!
It is true that it was bad. So bad in fact that I still have the disc sitting on my shelf, haven't touched it in quite some time. I think I should do something about this!
I too have a GTX 260 with a Q8400 Intel cpu. I wonder how this game will run at say 1920x1080?
I was actually thinking of writing more review!
Can't wait to pick this up. Trading it in for Halo Reach and Modern Warfare 2.
Again, Gilmore Girls? Hmm...
