I think Red Dead Redemption deserves this prize...I cannot express how f*cking awesome this game is! The amount of attention and detail that went into this game is fantastic. I was sold the first time I was riding a horse and I met a stranger on the road who asked me for a lift to town...being a good fellow I am, I stopped for the guy and all of a sudden...WTF!? Pulls me off my horse and takes off with it!...Only to shortly end up with a sniper bullet in his skull...that sheer authentic lying...
Damn...what brought me here was the android boobs...oh well, nice customization though.
Wait...what the hell?!? I know Kinect is for casuals....my point is simply that Microsoft is going after the casual market and core gamers (who made microsoft's gaming business what it is today) feel left behind in the process! And not need to get pissed Kinectanigga, calm down, have a cookie.
I really don't care even if Kinect reaches 10 Mil by April. The thing still doesn't have games to carter its core gamers. People are buying it just because it is the new toy that everyone must have. If Microsoft wants this peripheral to sell in the long run, they will have to support it with games that appear to both the casual AND the core gamers.
I agree...If you want some hilarious fun, just listen to Patcher's predictions.
I too don't see much difference between both versions in this video. However I am anxious to pick up the PS3 version, even though I've already played the 360 version. Couple of reasons is that everything is on one disc including the DLC.
Same here. I prefer the Android phone.
Nah, I quickly figured out that part. The part that I couldn't figure out was reactivating the artificial gravity after manually hacking those arms that stop the sphere thing. After that, I had no clue until I remembered pressing the right stick shows you where to go next!
You know, Activision is just hurting and they are full of jealousy and hatred and now they are picking on anything that is large, that has lots of money and whose grass is greener than Activision's! ....they (Activision) are behaving like little kids...all they need is a box of cookies and milk, that's all. If that doesn't work, hey I want EA to teach them a fucking lesson.
You can go ahead and play dead space 2 demo without the need of finishing the first one. Controls are a little bit different though but there's an intro video in dead space 2 that shows the events of dead space 1.
ARE YOU SERIOUS? :D
I have the same experience too. Demo downloads on my PS3 tend to be slow while the Xbox just finishes up quickly. One thing I hate about the PS3 downloads is that you have to install everything you download...the bigger the thing, the longer it takes to install. I've never seen a game demo installing after downloading.
@NecrumSlavery
I hope so...I guess we're gonna have to wait and see. I can already see the campaign to be awesome. I hope it is longer than Dead Space 1's. I am getting the PS3 version this way I can play Dead Space Extraction as well.
Honestly I have no idea! But looking at what people have been creating in the beta, I can assume that whatever will be in the demo will give us a sweet taste of what the final game can more than offer. I hope the demo comes with some creation stuff. I live in Canada so the store hasn't been updated yet. Dead Space 2 hasn't been put up yet, although the demo is now live on Xbox Live.
@NecrumSlavery
Overall, I can tell you that the demo is pretty sweet and awesome. I look forward to the game, but not sure about the multiplayer.
Wait, there's no survival mode or something like taking on waves of oncoming enemies??!? You have to be joking right?? If there's any place to have endless waves of enemies with your buddies trying to hold everything off, it's dead space!! It's perfectly built for this kind of stuff...Damn, I'm a...
I just finished the demo and I can tell you a few things:
1) I was not used to the sudden change of controls the RB/RT were exchanged as well as the LB/LT buttons...it felt awkward at first.
2) Isaac Clarke can TALK! It feels weird hearing him talk, but it's an awesome addition.!
3) The game is DEFINITELY SCARIER, and HARDER! Enemies will suddenly surprise you and just attack in large numbers. New enemies, new death ways, more gore, more ...
Man I can't wait for the demo to go live today! This game + the gamers = ridiculous creativity!...I have so many levels created in LBP 1. The fact that you can play those in the second game makes LittleBigPlanet 2 just full of WIN.
The Current Grand Theft Auto had a budget of $100,000,000 which made it one of the most expensive games ever made of all time. Most of the money was used for research and development as well as to license the 100s of tracks available in the game. I wonder how much the next iteration will cost?
I had the same thought...they just received the short end (and expensive) of the stick! It's kind of weird that the Move is costing a lot more than it is supposed to. Any ideas why? Does it have to deal with shipping costs?
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is fantastic...but it is not in the reign to be compared to Red Dead Redemption. This game is just awesome.
