played my first session of 6 hours or so. Glad no nukes this time and surprisingly no hiccups or game knocking to main menu yet. I think after the first prestige when you have unlocked all the stuff the novelty will wear off quickly. I should have bought only one copy and given it to my nephew on his birthday in 5 days.
can't wait for Vietnam DLC for BC2 though. Might put it on ebay later.

I bet if you dont buy their later Map packs they will include those in regular play list and like in WAW they will boot the player to main menu when the next map is a DLC which the player hasnt bought.

BD is only popular on N4G, rest of the world hasn't embraced 3D nor bluray in massive amounts even with ps3 trojoning it 4 years back.

BF series ruled online fps genre last decade with BF1942, MOD/DC, Secret weapons of WWII not so much), Vietnam, BF2, BF2142 on PC and started console with BF:MC, BF:BC and BC2. I think they are one of the most diverse fps makers and added tons of features which others followed and yet to follow on. I remember commander mode in BF:2, mp3 playback via radio of vehicles in BF:V, getting into any vehicle, land, air or sea started back in 1942.

Yep agreed + bubbs. And look at them playing that 1 year lead card everytime the sales are discussed. These blindbats were sleeping when for first 6 months of 360's launch there was such huge shortage and EU dint' even get the stocks till mid of 2006. Where as sony announced they will not have any shortages and will fill everyone's requirments day one. So merely 5 months gap was there when 360 finally had stable supply but by then ps3 was launched.
