Have you tried orb or tversity? They are much easier to work with. Just install and configure which folders you want to share and then its done. You will find orb in the media blade when you get asked for connecting to the pc.
Another film tie-in bites the dust. Man when can we have games which truly do justice to their big screen counterparts. My personal disappointment started way back when i went and bought E.T. for my atari. 20+ years although not as bad but still average.

LOL..My half tera storage is 3/4 full cuz of the movies. The HD ones take huge space.
You could do anyway stream almost all formats using orb or tversity. I am streaming most of the vid formats from xvid to mkv to avi to mp4 using orb. But would be good to burn these movies to a dvd-rs and play directly from the drive as you'll get more control over the playback.

Its not a standalone player, its a PC drive. Its almost the same as the HD-Drive for 360 which is like $120 or something but that one comes with usb port. This one you have to plug it in the pc. You guys really dont know jack and just jump up on anything that says bluray just cuz you are sony fanbois.
Do you even have good pcs at home or just having celerons in your pcs. Even if you have the drive in your pc you need a HDCP compliant vga card to play hd content.
People are hardly buying the bluray player @ $600 now they expect the videophiles to pay $2000+. Man those guys (sony) have really gone kkkkkkkrazy..

My PS2 broke 2 yrs down the road. The drive wouldnt work. So i tossed it to my friend who was a distributor for one region and took his for free. Then sold it later to buy 360.
My thoughts exactly. Keep on folding b3yond. Anyways, none of these kids ever used pcs with cd/dvd drives before. Whenever the drive is activated the startup rev noise is there..
I can't even make out if the 360 drive is working as i usually sit a bit away from the 50" Tv and the only sound i hear are the game sounds or from movies which I stream from my PC. U guys must be having library quite rooms that you can even hear your consoles breathing.

I'd call them 3 million folders @ waiting beyond for gaming.
I just hope they reduce the 20gig price so all core guys can pick it up and then the games can be made with HDD kept in mind. ALthough none of the amazing games that have come so far on 360 have needed an HDD.
