ive been skating for 4 years now. i had to quit for a year becuase of a serious jones fracture and i had surgery. i know what you mean skate appeals to the skateboarding audience more than the gaming one. i don't know if im gonna get this. i really want to get killzone 2 and i don't want anything interrupting me from it lol.
skate 2 obviously didn't have an impact like skate did. much like like the transition from gears to gears 2. tony hawk is dead in my eyes after the last couple of games. activision will have to pull off something amazing in order to bring me back.
When I see killzone 2 on acne products then it will officially be astronomical. day one purchase either way.
i have a hunch that sony will advertise kz2 during half time. I think they picked feb. for a reason.
I think it will sell around 500k-1mil launch week. That is very good. It has tons of hype. Think about it. New ips like uncharted sold over 2 million. Killzone 2 is an fps making it a lot more accessible to people. I think killzone 2 will sell somewhere around 5mil LTD. that's just my opinion.
Gametrailers does not have quality IMO. The winner is ign and youtube (the HD ones are amazing)

As a franchise it's not yet bigger. It's way better. When the third uncharted comes out, then it will be better than TR. It's already better than most other franchises.

I like my games very realistic, especially online. Yet I enjoy a much more creative and sci-fi-ish experience. I hate when people complain that games aren't realistic (shooters in particular). If people care so much about shooters being realistic, then go join the army or something. Pretty much guaranteed it's nothing like a game. All this realistic game talk makes me wanna get Kizzy 2 even more! Agree if it's a day one purchase for you!!!
F3 and MGS4 are tied in my eyes.
Even though this sounds awesome. It would be a mistake releasing something like this the day of KZ2's release. Might take some of it's flare. This is just me think out loud so don't kill me.
I have never doubted this game. Kizzy 2 will be going down into FPS history.
