This is a game review, the reviwer is probably disappointed with FFXIII...Non of the japanese rated this game 1 star in Amazon Japan? Or maybe these Japanese reviewer are Chinese men in disguised? Open your eyes and use your brain.
This has nothing to do with Chinese hates Japanese or whatever craps. You morons can't even see this? Why is there an official FFXIII launch in Hong Kong? Hong Kong gamers play alot more of JRPG than anyone of you here.

Square Enix or whatever crap company removes chapter roaming and include that to save points as well.
Great! You can do all sort of level grinding at save points, save you the trouble to roam around.... Im sure you will like games like that...crap
Interacting with NPC, choosing the answers to their questions has always been one of the fun in RPG (doesn't matter whether it is Western or Japanese, buying or selling or simply talking to them adds the flavor in stor...

1) Poor AI
When you set optima to healer, it just doesnt heal the way you hope it would. Sometime you hope it would heal uniformly when all of your char recieve huge damage from mass attack... sometime it would spend all the atb points on 2 char and left the other one unattended to with low vitality ...whereby the enemy can easily ...
you know nothing about me, i am a Japanese, needless to say that i understand the game and battle system fully.
Just wait and see the response when the game actually hits foreign market ....

FFXIII is crap, dont buy it, just rent it .... its a movie with playable battle scenes, RPG? no way!

I bought this game day 1 and i now stop at chapter 11 (so called Grand plus) open world of the game and still.... no secrets for the player to explore (only quests to kill monsters ...)
Battle system is fun at first but gets boring after halfway through the game.... no character switch at free will...and every battle, you can only control the leader, the other 1 or 2 are bots wh...
The feeling after i played FFXIII?

FFXIII no secrets for the player to explore...no real town and NPC interaction.... can control only 1 character ...summon can not be switched from 1 character to another...you can't set the bots to use summon as well... money in the game are so damn hard to earn
Lighting has Odin....Snow has Shiva ....so far i have reached chapter 8 which is the first town of the g...
FFX is ok... but Square shouldn't have removed the open world exploration by air ship ....instead of "warping" to each destination in FFX ....
FFXII sucks....basically because it was done by the team that created Vagrant Story... boring battle system...
FFXIII is the worst of all....no secrets... no open world... no air ship...only can control 1 character in each battle...the other 2 are bots... CG --> Battle --> cut scene ---> follow by more l...
when the actual game is released in the US ..... i can see much anger and disappointment comming from those who has not played the game but defend the title in this thread....
Chapter 3-4 is nothing ...my friends who have beaten the game, said that once you reach chapter 11 - Grand Plus or something like that....the map will be quite open and large .... but damn....the game ends at chapter 13.
I played the game as well...got it on the 17th and sorry to say, this FFXIII is a major disappointment, apart from beautiful graphics and good battle system ..... the game has nothing else to offer....it shouldnt even be call an RPG,
i have only arrived in chapter 8....the first actual town in the game ....no NPC interaction .... the game is totally linear which makes me go back to my Uncharted 2 multiplay...
Damn...i miss open world exploration in FFVII, FFVIII...

I don't really care about time exclusive...i love tomb raiders and i still recalled how proud i was when the first game hit playstation back then when sega saturn had resident evil released before it came to playstation later in that gen....
